What is Going on with Everyone?

Have you noticed that people seem to be angrier and ruder than normal lately?  There doesn’t seem to be any wiggle room anymore for compassion towards others.  People are at their wit's end and just can’t take anything else.  It’s my way or the highway.

Remember you always have a choice.  It may not seem like it at the time, but you do have a choice.  Lots of businesses are having to change their prices and policies to keep up with the changing times, whether it be people’s new habits or the price of doing business.  Your choice in that moment is to accept their pricing and policies as they now stand and continue doing business with them or to go somewhere else.  Sending angry emails and text messages don’t get you where you want to be.  It may feel great at that moment, but compassion will get you further.  The person that read that angry message rarely has anything to do with the change that you’re upset about.  That person is just doing the job that they’re paid to do.  All that happens is you make that person’s day more difficult.

It seems that a boiling point as been reached.  Are you one of the people that has been on the receiving end of someone else’s tirade, or have you been one that’s been taking your emotions out on those around you?  Either way, it probably doesn’t feel great after that initial moment.  The most helpful thing that you can do is to think before you react.  If you must respond, do it with kindness.  Respect our people’s boundaries and know there is a reason that a boundary is in place.

You always have a choice in how you respond.  If you need someone else’s opinion before you respond, seek it.  Think about your response first.  If you’re having a conversation, tell the person that you need a moment to think about it and will get back to them with a response.  Always remember that even when it doesn’t seem like it you have options.  It may not be what you want, but you do have a choice.

Are You Being Judged?

Judgment is a challenging emotion, whether you are the one that is being judged or doing the judging.  With judgment, there tends to be a lower-level emotion associated with it, whether it be shame, guilt or blame.  If you’re feeling judged, why do you feel that way?

It could something as simple as having to ask a pharmacist for a test behind the counter and them giving you a look.  The person didn’t say anything, but the look in their eyes could have been the only thing that was needed to make you feel judged.  It’s normally bringing a feeling to the surface that you haven’t dealt with yet.  What’s the emotion that you need to work through?

On to the judgment of other people.  This one is a little more complicated.  You could be judging them for what are perceived as valid reasons.  You visit a company’s website and make the decision whether to work with them based upon what you see.  The judgments that you make may or may not be valid, but you could perceive them as being valid.  These types of judgments are made every day.  Not all judgment is bad.

The question for you, is what is the judgment trying to teach you?  Everything that happens is meant to teach you something.  Some big issues have been coming to the surface.  It’s time to begin the process of working through them.  So if you’ve felt judged or have judged someone else, begin to look at the reasons why.

You Again?

Do you ever feel like the same problem rises to the surface repeatedly?  Just when you think you might be getting past it a new layer comes up?

The reason is you haven’t gotten to the root of the problem.  Until you reach the root, you’re not done.

Trauma work is not the easiest of work to tackle, but it’s essential to growth.  To become a happier person sometimes you have to go backward.

You might know that something was an issue in the past, or you’re having a conversation and getting angry and upset about something you didn’t even know was a problem.  Life can slap you beside the head sometimes, but it’s how you move forward that matters.  Do you deal with the issue, or do you run and hide?

Running away only gets you so far.  It will continue to rise to the surface until you face it.  It will pop up at the worst possible moments.

Do you want to be beholden to an emotion that can control the direction of your life?  The answer is most likely no.

It’s time to be uncomfortable, even when you don’t want to.  It’s time to move forward.  It’s time to live your life on your terms, not on a past emotion or someone else’s expectations.

You’re in the last quarter of 2021, 2022 is right around the corner.  Maybe now is the time.

What’s rising to the surface? Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Growth Hurts!

Life seems like a challenge right now.  If it doesn’t hurt, you’re not doing it right.  Now is a time to grow and expand.  Growth hurts!

Think back to when you were a kid.  When you grew taller, you would be tired.   You would sleep more and eat more, but eventually everything would even out.

Growth in life is the same way.  It hurts.  You exercise for the first time, and it hurts the next day.  Each time you work a new muscle group, it hurts again.

When you’re expanding your knowledge base, there’s bound to be pain involved.  That doesn’t mean that you should run though, the universe will always find you.  The next time the lesson will be a little more complex.

It seems you may want things to stay the same, but that’s just not possible.  Or maybe you want someone to do the hard work for you.  That’s not an option either.

You came here to experience life.  Growth is a natural part of life.  You don’t just go from Point A to Point E, you must go through Points B, C, and D before you get there.

Even when you think you have tackled this lesson, there could be another layer to work through.  No matter how much you want to, life is a process, and it doesn’t always happen overnight.  The things that you desire the most you must work for.

Growth is hard, but on the other side of each obstacle.  It could be everything you’ve ever wanted.  Seeds don’t grow overnight.  It can take months or even years to get the desired result.  Keep working on it, you will get there and one day you will be in awe of how much you’ve grown.

Can You Only See It This Way?

Do you have a set dream or vision that you can only see happen in a specific way?  It’s time to introduce some flexibility into your vision.

When you can only see one path, it makes it challenging for the universe to help things along.  Things rarely happen in the exact way we envision them.

This is a time to release your expectations.  Things don’t always happen how you expect.  What happens then?  Disappointment.  Beating yourself up.  Wondering what happened?  Where did I go wrong?  You do down this rabbit hole that can be challenging to dig yourself out of.

Letting go of expectations isn’t easy.  They seem to happen quite naturally.  Letting of anything can be complicated but may be necessary to make the result a reality.

The process of manifestation doesn’t always work how you expect.  Emotions get in the way.  Reality gets in the way.  Other people get in the way.  The list goes on.

Cut the ties to your expectations.  In whatever way best serves you.  There is no right way.

This doesn’t mean that you don’t try to work towards your vision.  The path will begin the journey.  Follow the clues.  Follow the signs.  Trust your intuition.  And be open to what presents itself.

How are you going to release expectations? Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Just Release

Over the course of the last few weeks, something has been revealed to you.  You’re receiving clarity on something.  You’re going to start working toward a goal soon, but before you do, look at what’s rising to the surface.

Emotions are coming up.  You may feel confused, sad, guilt, fear, or any number of other emotions.  You may feel a lot of emotion at once or could even just feel numb.  You’re at a point where the emotion needs to be addressed and released.

You’re shifting and changing.  It’s what 2021 is all about.  Your life isn’t going to be the same and there can be a grieving process for what might not have gone entirely as planned.  You had your sights set on it, but it just didn’t work that way.

It’s ok.  Sometimes you just need to let it unfold as it’s meant to.  It doesn’t always go as planned.  You have a tendency to want to avoid pain.  You’re not alone in this.

It’s important to step into the pain.  You shouldn’t try to ignore it.  It’s like a wave.  In order to ride a wave, you have to go into it.

You can’t avoid the emotions.  No matter how hard you try.  If you try to ignore the pain, it could catch up with you.  You want to release the pain.  Release the past.  Move into the next chapter with a little less baggage.

As you move through this time, give yourself the space you need.  You may be tired, sleep.  You may not want to speak to anyone, don’t.

Things will start moving soon, so process.  Feel whatever rises to the surface.  It will all be ok.

Revise or Toss?

With so many planets in Virgo and the Sun moving into Virgo on August 22, we’re being asked to clean up our lives, but not in the way that you might think.

2021 has been about building a new structure for your life.  How has that process been going for you?  You’re moving into a time where decisions will need to be made.  Do you like the choices that you’ve made so far?  You’ve been receiving clues and hints from the universe about what you still may need to charge.

The first part of changing up a room in your house is to clean up what’s currently there.  Do you just move things around or do a deep clean?  Do you look through what you have and toss what you no longer need?

This is the process that you will be going through with your life.  You may be one of those people who want to cut off an arm before they’re willing to part with something, but know this, sometimes you have to part with something to bring in what you really want.

The time to make a commitment to your new structure is coming.  You still have time to determine the path, but the foundation of the new structure is being laid.

What do you want the new foundation to look like?  Do you want it to be the same?  Do you want it to be a combination of old and new?  Or will it be completely different?  Only you can answer that question.

Start thinking and implementing what you want your life to look like.  You will still have choices to make as you go along, but you’re being pushed to start the process.

It’s always better to move through the process at a pace that works for you, than to have decisions made for you.

What do you need to revise or toss to start laying your foundation? Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Time To Transform

As you head into summer, what do you want your life to look like?  The sun is shining and illuminating different areas of your life.

It’s the time of year when growth tends to be easier to handle.  You may like your life the way it is, or you may still have some dreams that you’re looking to explore.

Transformation can happen when you least expect it.  It’s not always something that you’re seeking.  The last year you’ve seen a lot of things happen that you never thought you would.  The structure of your life may have crumbled down around you.

It’s time to rebuild.  Take a chance and do something that you never considered before.  Follow your dreams.  Go after it.  What’s the worst thing that can happen?

Fear has held you back for too long.  If you want change to occur, something different must happen.  Your life can’t transform when you’re gripping on to the past and won’t let go.

The past few weeks hopefully you’ve been cleaning up and letting go of the past.  Transformation wants to unfold in your life, but you need to let it.

Have you taken steps and just need to pull the trigger?  Maybe you’re still questioning whether you have to?  The answer is most likely yes.  Change can be terrifying, but once you do it, you may wonder why you let your fear hold you back and didn’t do it sooner.

Fear can hold you back and keep you from transforming you into the person you’re mean to be.  It may be challenging but take a chance and see what happens.  What you want could happen and transform your life for the better.

What are you looking to transform in your life?  Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Is It The Heat Of The Moment?

Do you ever find yourself triggered?  It could be from a phone call, conversation, email or just scrolling through social media.  You desperately want to respond.  Put that other person in their place.  You want to tell them that’s not true or maybe just unleash all of your anger about something else.

Try something different.  Take a step back.  Let yourself get to a place where you’re calm.  Words can be unleashed in anger that you can’t take back.

You may find yourself having a confrontation with an employee who’s just doing their job.  You may just say something that isn’t true.  There’s a tendency to not be your best self at these moments.

Being triggered is meant to be a moment where you have the opportunity to see things clearly.  Triggers are meant to make you uncomfortable.  They’re meant to help you grow.  You can only truly grow in those moments.

When everything is going along the way you want it, are you going outside of your comfort zone?  I’m guessing the answer is no.

The darkness is where you learn.  It’s not meant to be all lollipops and rainbows.  You came here to learn.  What you come here to learn is for you to decide.  You aren’t meant to stay in one place.

So the next time you start feeling angry or uncomfortable, take a step back.  Ask yourself questions and try to come from a place that is kind to yourself and those around you.  The world could use a little more kindness.

What is coming to the surface that’s making you uncomfortable?  Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Between Worlds

Do you know what the future looks like?  If you do, aren’t you lucky!  If not, join the club.  You may have ideas.  You may have hopes and dreams, but it’s not certain until it lands in the present.

There are times where you so badly want something to happen, that you don’t live in the present moment.  You live for creating the future.  That perspective may eventually take you where you want to go, but it can also be emotionally draining.  You’re always seeking and searching rather than being able to accept life for what it is.

The same can be said if you’re a person that lives in the past.  You may believe the best days of your life are behind you.  You miss what was instead of what is.

Living in the present can be a challenge.  Especially for those who are trying to create a better you.  The trials of life are hard.  You so desperately want to be happy and there isn’t a lot of happiness in the world.

Last year the rug was pulled out from under you, and nothing is the same.  It’s not meant to.  You’re in the rebuilding stage.  You’re creating something new, and unfortunately, it doesn’t happen overnight.  You’re going to stumble, and you may even fail along the way.

Life’s journey is never easy and it’s the in-between areas of life where you learn the most about yourself and others.

For so much of life, the in-between areas are challenging and difficult, but there’s value.  Take the in-between area for what it is.  The area where a puzzle is started.  You start putting the pieces together and one day it will be completed.

For now, it may be messy and unknown, but there’s something there to be explored.  What in-between areas of life are you exploring?   Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.
