Nurture Yourself

This week should be fairly relaxing.  There’s only one non-lunar aspect in the sky, so use this energy and pamper yourself.  Do something for you.

Venus enters the sign of Pisces on March 11 at 5:50 pm EST.  Venus loves being in Pisces.  It’s a time for her to connect to the dreamy romantic part of life.  Check out and just drift.  Take some time for yourself.  Do something for yourself that you may never do or haven’t done in a while.  Get a massage or have a Reiki session.  Connect to your inner you and just be.

So much time in life is spent doing.  It’s time to accomplish and check things off the list.  It’s easy to forget to be in the moment.  This is a week to be in the moment.

What are you going to do for yourself this week?   Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Can You Put Love in a Box?

It’s the holiday season!  While for some people it can mean gratitude and love. For others it can be about the darkness and the shadow.  Which side of the coin do you fall into?  This week love is the theme, but how does love look for you?  Are you trying to create a checklist of items that have to be met or does it have more of an intensity to it?  This week both parts of Venus can be true.

Venus in Libra Squares Pluto in Capricorn on December 3 at 8:29  am EST.  Venus in Libra wants to love love.  Venus wants to be balanced and peaceful, but Pluto in Capricorn has other ideas.  Pluto has been transforming the Capricorn section of your chart since 2008 and this time it’s looking to change your ideas about love.  Pluto in Capricorn wants to have a structure to it, but Venus in Libra doesn’t.  There’s a clash of ideas about love this week. Which side wins?  Maybe neither one.

Venus enters the sign of Scorpio on December 4 at 1:51 pm EST.  It’s time to look at the passionate side of love this week or maybe even the controlling side of love.  Scorpio likes to dig deep and investigate, but it can also have a tendency to want to control or manipulate a situation to meet its needs.  Either form of love can be experienced, but it is dependent on your vibration.  What are you attracting?  This could lead you to the answers that you’re looking for.  Of course, you then have to do something with those answers.

Neptune stations direct on December 6 at 8:20 am EST.  Neptune in Pisces has been retrograde since June 30.  A lot has  changed in your world since the end of June.  What have you reviewed in your life in regards to your spirituality since the end of June?  Have things been clear or are they still cloudy?  It’s ok if they’re still cloudy, it can take some time to get definitive answers.  You don’t have to have the answers all at once.  They may appear over time.  Take it one step at a time.

Venus in Scorpio Opposes Jupiter in Taurus on December 9 at 10:35 pm EST.  The sign of intensity and passion meets the sign of fertility and stability.  Venus in Scorpio meeting Jupiter in Taurus is going to expand whatever feelings you’re having right now.  This could be an even more intense time, then it already was.  You may not want to go in a new direction, both Scorpio and Taurus are fixed and stubborn signs, but you may not be able to look past the feelings anymore.

What’s Important?

Happy Independence Day!  Enjoy some time off with family and friends and a little reminder about what’s important in life.  It can be so easy to get lost in day-to-day activities, but those aren’t what you remember at the end of the day.  It may be a seemingly tiny thing to you that makes all the difference in the world to someone else.

With all the hustle and bustle and high intensity of the last few years, a basic philosophy of being kind to others seems to be missing as part of daily society.  There’s such a concern with being right that being kind has been lost.  Venus in Leo is all about connecting to the heart and will Square Uranus in Taurus on July 2 at 10:34 am.  Uranus in Taurus is working on helping you to grow.  Maybe it’s more important to grow something that is meaningful and to be happy and fulfilled, than it is to have all the money or tangible items in the world.  It can be so easy to strive for riches and get things, but at the end of your life, you can’t take any of those things with you. Many people are starting new chapters in their lives, you may even be one of them.  Do something that will bring you happiness.  Happiness and love are two of the most important things that you can have in your life and their effects can be widespread.  A little bit of joy can go a long way to changing the world.

Mercury in Cancer will Square Chiron in Aries on July 6 at 12:28 am.  There may be some emotional processing that takes place.  Mercury has been revealing things and still is this week.  Pay attention to the little things, they may seem insignificant but could send you in a new direction.  Be careful not to get too stuck in your head.  It can be hard to say the words, but those words could be significant.

What’s important to you? Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Rose-Colored Glasses

The end of Aquarius season is drawing near and Pisces season is almost upon you.  It will be time to tap into the empathic, compassionate, and spiritual side of life.  The Sun will enter Pisces on February 18 at 5:34 p.m.

Although the Sun hasn’t entered Pisces yet, Venus and Neptune are both there and are meeting on February 15 at 7:25 am.  Venus loves hanging out in the sign of Pisces and can tap into her romantic side.  She can float away while dreaming and escaping and Neptune is right there with her.  Neptune will take the opportunity to escape, dream and imagine.  This is definitely a day where you are likely to see the world through rose-colored glasses, so it can be challenging if you’re searching for clarity.

The Sun in Aquarius will visit Saturn in Aquarius one last time on February 16 at 11:48 am before Saturn moves into Pisces on March 7.  This is an opportunity to check in and make sure that you’re on track before Saturn changes signs.  What have you been meant to learn while Saturn has been in Aquarius?  Are you ready to move on?  The answer as to what you’re supposed to learn is different for each person and is dependent on your own natal chart.  The sign of Aquarius can also hold a sense of idealism but can be used if you need some objectivity.

This is a time of ending patterns and wrapping up cycles, so use this week to your advantage.  Dream a little.  Try to find the best in the world, I know it can be challenging.  What contribution can you bring to make the world just a little bit better?

Dreams vs. Illusions

What are you dreaming about right now?  Are you seeing it clearly or is it a little bit foggy and out of focus?  It may be hard to tell this week with the Sun in Sagittarius squaring Neptune in Pisces on December 14 at 12:10 p.m.

Sagittarius is the sign of enthusiasm, hope, and optimism, but can also be the sign of being frank, outspoken, and exaggeration.  Pisces is the sign of compassion, mysticism, and spirituality, but can also be the sign of illusions, escapism, and deception.  Those two signs are creating conflict this week.

If you are able to take the struggle of last week and look beyond the illusion and frustration, you may start to see the bigger picture of what you want.  Squares are an opportunity to show you what you truly want.  You don’t discover what you want when everything in your life is going perfectly.  You tend to find out what is important to you when life isn’t going your way.  It’s human nature to want what you don’t have and to overlook what you do.

You may feel overly optimistic and that you can solve anything.  If you decide to explore, remember to take it slow and examine whether it is something that you truly want or you just think you want.  The old adage of being careful what you wish for could be an issue right now.  Think about it.  Sleep on it.  Don’t act impulsively.  If you do act impulsively, you could either regret your actions or have to make another decision later.  Mars is still retrograde in Gemini.  There’s a good possibility of having to take action twice.

Dreams are an important part of life.  Just make sure that you really want it, before you go after it.

What are you dreaming about?   Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Confident or Angry

How have you been emotional over the last week?  Lots of emotions have been rising to the surface.  You’ve been receiving clarity about the direction that you’re going to be taking.  You’ll need that information as you begin this week.

Mercury is still retrograde, but on May 22, it’s going back into the sign of Taurus.  If you’ve been feeling ungrounded, this is great energy to help you feel more stable in your way of thinking.

On May 24, Mars is going to enter the sign of Aries, the sign of the ram and the warrior.  The positive form of Mars in Aries is a sense of confidence and a readiness to take action.  The negative form can be feelings of anger. Whether you’re in the positive or the negative only matters in so much as it tells you where you stand in that given moment.  It can be fluid and you can move between them.

The key is to pay attention to what you’re feeling.  If you are feeling angry, take a deep breath.  Why are you feeling angry?  Maybe it’s something that you’re meant to work through.  When you’re angry, you’re rising towards empowerment.  You don’t want to discount what you’re feeling or try to suppress it.  It’s meant to be expressed, but it must be conveyed in a way that is healthy for you and those around you.

Look at the world.  There are way too many people that go around and use their anger toward others who don’t deserve it.  Try and look at your anger objectively.  Are you in a place where it can be expressed safely?  If you are, great.  Find a way to direct that anger in a healthy manner.  If not, you’re going to continue to take some deep breaths and use those breaths to control your emotions. If you can, walk away and come back to the anger when you’re in a better place.

Anger is tricky.  It can seemingly come out of nowhere and take you by surprise.  Normally this is because something has been suppressed, which is why you want to state it, but you don’t want to unleash it.  If you’re feeling angry, it can be a great time to talk with a coach or someone else who isn’t connected to what you’re experiencing.

Mars in Aries will take those emotions that you’ve been feeling and channel them in a positive or negative way.  Which path are you going to choose?   Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Always & Forever,

Christmas, the Season Of…

What does Christmas make you think of? Is it the season of magic or do you feel lonely? Christmas can make you feel either one, but it is a time of opportunity where anything is possible if you allow yourself to believe in magic.

Magic doesn’t make sense and it’s not supposed to.  It’s supposed to just happen, like synchronicity or miracles.  No matter how hard you try to force something to happen, it just unfolds the way that it’s meant to.  You can have the best-laid plans, and something can throw everything off track, you can’t plan for it.

Christmas is the season of light and giving. The season of Santa. You may know all about Santa, but the mythology of Santa Claus encompasses the importance of magic. The idea that one man can fly around the world and deliver presents to all the children in the world. All myths have an origin. Christmas didn’t begin as a season of commercialism, but one of giving to our fellow man.  Saint Nicholas, who some say is the originator of the traditions associated with Santa Claus, is said to have given away all his material possessions and wealth. He traveled around, helping the sick and the poor. The Christian version of Christmas is the day of Jesus Christ’s birth. Another story that focuses on the poor. A pregnant woman and a man who were looking for a place to stay to deliver a child. He is born in a stable because there wasn’t room for them in the inn.  Both origin stories focus on gifts to the poor.

Whether or not these origin stories involve supernatural forces will never be known and you don’t have to know.  It is the essence of the season that’s important.  The belief that anything can happen. The world can change from the actions of one person, and you might not even know it at the time. Make a little room for the magic this holiday season. Allow the essence of the season to remain with you this week whether you’re surrounded by loved ones or due to other reasons are spending some time alone.  The magic is what’s important.

What magic is coming into your life? Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Are You Feeling Alone?

Have you been feeling rather isolated lately?   Either by choice or the nature of life.  COVID-19 has changed so many people’s lives, it’s not particularly surprising that one of those maybe the feeling of isolation.

I have experienced isolation in many ways.  As a teenager, I was hurt by a friend and could no longer feel that I could trust people.  My method of coping was to hang out in my room and watch television.  I would live vicariously through other people’s lives, until one day I decided that it was time for me to venture back out into the world.  I still had trust issues, but the only way to move past it, is to try it, so I started trying to learn to trust people again.  It’s had its ups and downs over the years, but at least I have emerged from my room.

When COVID-19 started, I returned to this pattern, but for a different reason.  The fear was still there, but it wasn’t an issue of whether I could trust people, but I was trying to protect myself and those I love.  I came out of full isolation mode in June of 2020 when I went back to work, but there was still a piece that felt that I needed to protect the people that I care about, so I went to the grocery store and to work and not too much else.

Just within the last few months, I’ve started to emerge a little bit, I’m going shopping in stores again, fully masked of course.  In October, I went to my cousin’s wedding.  You either had to prove your vaccination status or provide a negative COVID test within 48 hours of the event.  I went to a hotel, with a bottle of disinfectant, just to be on the safe side, and nothing happened.  I stepped out of my comfort zone, and nothing had happened.  I started to imagine the possibilities.  Maybe life can return to some sort of normal.

The next week, I found out someone that I know and had encountered had come down with COVID-19.  I went back to the end of March 2020.  I quarantined in my room.  I was masked, if I had to come out and my bottle of disinfectant, went everywhere with me.  I passed 2 negative COVID tests before I emerged.  The stress that weighed on me that week is one that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy.  All the what-ifs came to mind.  I had to protect myself and the people that I care about.

My story over the course of my teenage years, the past year, or the past month, maybe something that you can relate to.  It’s not unique and one that so many of you encounter.  How do you deal with the unexpected?  Do you run and hide?  Is there a reason for you to isolate and quarantine?  Either way, the result is the same.  The feeling of being alone.

As an introvert, I need some time alone, but an entire week alone was a little more alone time than I bargained for.  There are people out there, that live this life every day.  It’s not the healthiest way to live and can lead to feelings of depression, even for the healthiest among us.

What can you do to help someone who’s feeling alone or isolated themselves?  The answer may be felt like nothing, but human companionship is one of the necessities on this journey called life.  You need people around you to feel alive and guide you through the lessons of life.  This isn’t a time to isolate yourself from the traumas of the world, no matter how much easier it may be.

If you are feeling alone, what can you do?    Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

What is Going on with Everyone?

Have you noticed that people seem to be angrier and ruder than normal lately?  There doesn’t seem to be any wiggle room anymore for compassion towards others.  People are at their wit's end and just can’t take anything else.  It’s my way or the highway.

Remember you always have a choice.  It may not seem like it at the time, but you do have a choice.  Lots of businesses are having to change their prices and policies to keep up with the changing times, whether it be people’s new habits or the price of doing business.  Your choice in that moment is to accept their pricing and policies as they now stand and continue doing business with them or to go somewhere else.  Sending angry emails and text messages don’t get you where you want to be.  It may feel great at that moment, but compassion will get you further.  The person that read that angry message rarely has anything to do with the change that you’re upset about.  That person is just doing the job that they’re paid to do.  All that happens is you make that person’s day more difficult.

It seems that a boiling point as been reached.  Are you one of the people that has been on the receiving end of someone else’s tirade, or have you been one that’s been taking your emotions out on those around you?  Either way, it probably doesn’t feel great after that initial moment.  The most helpful thing that you can do is to think before you react.  If you must respond, do it with kindness.  Respect our people’s boundaries and know there is a reason that a boundary is in place.

You always have a choice in how you respond.  If you need someone else’s opinion before you respond, seek it.  Think about your response first.  If you’re having a conversation, tell the person that you need a moment to think about it and will get back to them with a response.  Always remember that even when it doesn’t seem like it you have options.  It may not be what you want, but you do have a choice.

What can you do to have more compassion for yourself and others?   Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Are You Being Judged?

Judgment is a challenging emotion, whether you are the one that is being judged or doing the judging.  With judgment, there tends to be a lower-level emotion associated with it, whether it be shame, guilt or blame.  If you’re feeling judged, why do you feel that way?

It could something as simple as having to ask a pharmacist for a test behind the counter and them giving you a look.  The person didn’t say anything, but the look in their eyes could have been the only thing that was needed to make you feel judged.  It’s normally bringing a feeling to the surface that you haven’t dealt with yet.  What’s the emotion that you need to work through?

On to the judgment of other people.  This one is a little more complicated.  You could be judging them for what are perceived as valid reasons.  You visit a company’s website and make the decision whether to work with them based upon what you see.  The judgments that you make may or may not be valid, but you could perceive them as being valid.  These types of judgments are made every day.  Not all judgment is bad.

The question for you, is what is the judgment trying to teach you?  Everything that happens is meant to teach you something.  Some big issues have been coming to the surface.  It’s time to begin the process of working through them.  So if you’ve felt judged or have judged someone else, begin to look at the reasons why.

What has judgment been teaching you?  Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.
