Time to Dream

Restrictions and boundaries have been the game, but right now stop and take some time to dream.  Jupiter and Neptune are meeting in the sign of Pisces on April 14, 2022.  While Jupiter and Neptune typically meet up every 13 years, this is the first time since March 17, 1856 meeting in their home sign of Pisces.
 
The sign of Pisces is all about intuition, imagination, dreams, empathy, and idealism.  Expect to find yourself more drawn to the dream world this week.  Who wants to be realistic right now?  Take into your intuition and search for the truth below the surface.  You’ve been learning a lot about what has been holding you back from moving forward.  This is a time to imagine what your life could be like if you’re willing to go to the next level.  This doesn’t mean that you need to take action yet, just imagine.  What could your life be like? 
 
You have dreams that you haven’t followed for one reason or another.  Life and other people’s expectations can have a tendency to get in the way.  Tap into those dreams.  Could you be meant to do more with your life?  Could you have it all wrong?  Or maybe you just need to make a few tweaks.
 
Your dreams can send you down roads that you never could have possibly imagined.  Your guides can whisper guidance in your ear that may seem like total nonsense but lead you to new discoveries.  This is a time to let the universal energies guide you where you need to go.  Don’t dismiss it as crazy quite yet.  More will be revealed but coming up with the idea is always the first step.

Time for Patience

Are you ready for your next Saturnian lesson?  It’s coming on April 4, when Mars in Aquarius will be conjunct Saturn in Aquarius.  The planet of action will be conjunct the planet of restrictions and boundaries.  Expect that things might not work out the way that you have expected or hoped.  Frustrations will become evident.  Plus Mercury just entered Aquarius on March 27, so expect that people might say exactly what they think.  This is a time for patience.

Patience can be a challenge.  You have an expectation for what is supposed to happen and when.  You’re finally ready to take the leap and it just doesn’t happen the way you wanted.  This isn’t a time to be discouraged.  It’s a time to persevere.  Be patient.

The universe doesn’t live on a linear timeline.  It would be great if it did.  Things happen when they’re meant to.  This can be a challenging lesson, especially in this day of instantaneous responses.  You no longer have to wait to receive a reply to a letter, you can get an answer right over the telephone.  You can book an appointment right over the internet during non-office hours.  But most of life doesn’t happen instantly.  You must have patience.

Patience can be one of the hardest lessons to learn.  To trust that what you’re feeling or working towards is the right thing, but not right now.  It could happen in a day, a week, a year or 10 years down the road.  Aquarius is a sign that tends to have you looking towards the future.  It’s not meant to happen now, but that doesn’t mean that you want to wait either.  Be patient and know that the universe has a plan for you.  Follow the clues and see where you’re being led.  Try to not let your expectations get in the way of what could unfold.  It could be bigger than you could have imagined.  Let the future take you where it will, but remember to keep going.  This isn’t the time to stop.

Feel the Feelings

It’s time to get ready to feel.  Feelings that you may not even have known that you had might emerge and take you by surprise.  On March 13, the Moon in Cancer is going to be in Opposition to Pluto in Capricorn.  Have you been working through your shadow?  If you haven’t there could be some surprises in store for you.

Pluto wants us to explore the dark side of life.  Exploring the dark side is how you can start to live a life filled with more joy and happiness.  You can’t have the light without the dark.  The Moon in Cancer is all about exploring what you feel.  There could be some surprises ahead for you.

Also, on March 13, there is a conjunction between the Sun, Jupiter, and Neptune all in Pisces.  The Sun is shining a light on your dreams.  What do you want your life to look like?  This is your opportunity to explore and see what that dream might look like.  Do you accept the opportunity?  Later in the week on March 17, the Moon in Virgo is going to be in Opposition to Jupiter and Neptune.  How do you feel about it?  Do you have a plan?  Is there anything that you haven’t thought of yet?

You’re being asked to look at life differently than you have in the past.  There’s always an emotional component to life.  Sometimes you don’t stop to explore those feelings, but they’re still there just waiting for you to take the time to process and ask how does it feel?  If you never stop to feel, eventually your emotions will sneak up on you and surprise you.  Emotions want to be felt one way or the other.  If you’re not comfortable with emotions, rest assured that you aren’t alone, you can try and experience them in a controlled way.  This doesn’t mean that they still might not sneak up on you, but the disruption to your life might be lessened.  You can always watch movies or listen to music that will make you feel.

Feel everything that you need to feel this week.  It’s more important than you might realize.

Christmas, the Season Of…

What does Christmas make you think of? Is it the season of magic or do you feel lonely? Christmas can make you feel either one, but it is a time of opportunity where anything is possible if you allow yourself to believe in magic.
 
Magic doesn’t make sense and it’s not supposed to.  It’s supposed to just happen, like synchronicity or miracles.  No matter how hard you try to force something to happen, it just unfolds the way that it’s meant to.  You can have the best-laid plans, and something can throw everything off track, you can’t plan for it. 
 
Christmas is the season of light and giving. The season of Santa. You may know all about Santa, but the mythology of Santa Claus encompasses the importance of magic. The idea that one man can fly around the world and deliver presents to all the children in the world. All myths have an origin. Christmas didn’t begin as a season of commercialism, but one of giving to our fellow man.  Saint Nicholas, who some say is the originator of the traditions associated with Santa Claus, is said to have given away all his material possessions and wealth. He traveled around, helping the sick and the poor. The Christian version of Christmas is the day of Jesus Christ’s birth. Another story that focuses on the poor. A pregnant woman and a man who were looking for a place to stay to deliver a child. He is born in a stable because there wasn’t room for them in the inn.  Both origin stories focus on gifts to the poor.
 
Whether or not these origin stories involve supernatural forces will never be known and you don’t have to know.  It is the essence of the season that’s important.  The belief that anything can happen. The world can change from the actions of one person, and you might not even know it at the time. Make a little room for the magic this holiday season. Allow the essence of the season to remain with you this week whether you’re surrounded by loved ones or due to other reasons are spending some time alone.  The magic is what’s important.

It’s A Mistake!

I’m sure you’ve made a mistake.  The issue isn’t that you’ve made a mistake, but how have you dealt with it? Have you tried to fix the mistake, or do you just keep plowing ahead as though you haven’t made one? It could depend on the mistake.
 
This time of year, is perfect for trying to fix mistakes of the past or for forgiveness, whether it be to forgive yourself or others.  You may beat yourself up because you didn’t know something.  It’s ok that you didn’t know, the question is what do you do now that you know? 
 
There are things that you’ve learned that you had no way of knowing.  The past 18 months have been all about experiencing life in a way that you and no one else could have predicted. The life before March 2020 is gone and you can’t go back, but you can move forward and forgive for what you didn’t know.
 
Fear can stop you from living the life that you’ve dreamed.  The fear of being wrong can cause you to make mistakes. The idea that you might not be good enough to experience that dream is something that is real. After doing a lot of soul searching, you might start to feel differently. You wish that you’d known this information back before you made these choices.  You can choose again. I’m not talking about using a time machine, but you can do today what you didn’t do yesterday.  By starting to act differently, you can begin to change the mistakes of your past.
 
You do deserve to have the life that you’ve dreamed of.  You don’t have to carry the baggage of your past with you everywhere you go.  You can let it go. It doesn’t have to control you the way it always has.   This is a time for a new beginning.

What Are You Looking to Grow?

Have you learned anything this year, but especially the past couple of months?  Secrets are being revealed.  We’re being given our marching orders.  It’s time to grow!
 
Why do I have to?  You don’t.  It’s your choice, but growth is part of the human experience.  When you’re comfortable, you’ve stopped growing.  The best lessons from life come from those moments when you decide to take a chance and go outside your comfort zone.
 
Take a gamble.  What’s the worst thing that can happen?  You try something, it doesn’t work, and you do it differently next time.  Or maybe you tell someone that you like them, and they don’t return your interest, then you can stop wondering what if and move on to someone who does.
 
For the past year, you’ve been holed up inside your house.  You have been facing limitations, and maybe you took chances, or maybe you didn’t.  A pandemic isn’t always the right time to take a chance, but the fog is starting to lift.
 
Now is the perfect time to take what you’ve been dreaming about and put those plans into action.  Some of you have been plotting the course ahead and just need to pull the trigger while others have still been dreaming, and wondering how do I get there.  You’re exactly where you’re supposed to be.
 
Take a chance.  Seize the opportunity and move forward.  Learn something new.  Experience a different way of life.  You don’t know if you don’t try.

Happiness Is….

What is the definition of happiness to you?  According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, the definition of happiness is “a state of well-being and contentment, joy.”  But what does that mean to you?
 
Happiness is something that you strive for.  You want to be happy in your life, but what do you mean when you break it down?  You may not even know the answer yourself.  It can be harder than you may think to define.
 
Once you’ve defined what happiness means to you, how do you get there?  The next obstacle.  Part of the reason why so many people are unhappy is we don’t know how to get there.  You keep trying over and over again.  You may get close, but it can seem to slip right through your fingers.
 
It can be hard to believe that happiness is just as much a state of being as sadness.  Sadness just seems to creep up on you and take over, but can happiness do the same?  It can if you allow it.  That can be a hard concept to grasp.  Happiness is a state of being.  If you want to be happy, then work towards being happy.  It can be done, but it may take some effort.  The negative some days seem so much easier to believe the positive.  Happiness is the same way.
 
How badly do you want it?  Sit down and make a list of all the things that make you happy.  Once you’ve done that see if you come up with any common themes. Take those common themes and see if you can develop a game plan to bring a little more happiness into your life.  If any time of year can bring more happiness, it’s summer.
 
Work from your list each day.  It’s all about creating a pattern.  Bring in the emotions you want and create them in your life.

Once Upon A Dream

I’m sure you have hopes and wishes.  It’s a part of what makes you the person you are.  You want to achieve something.  You want to attain something.  You want to do something.
 
The last year has been a challenge for those hopes and wishes.  Many of them were put on hold.  Some fell apart and others are still coming to light.
 
2020 was difficult for so many reasons, but so many lost hope.  This isn’t the time to lose hope, or to forget to dream.  That’s not to say that the protocols made to keep you safe aren’t tiresome and there’s a desire to one day not have to wear a mask for long periods of time, but we’re on the precipice of something being ready to come to light.  It many not come for another 6 months.  But in the grand scheme of things 6 months is nothing.  You can do this.
 
In the meantime, remember to wish.  Create what you want the next phase of your life to look like.  This is the time when you can plant the seeds.  You can do the work to get yourself ready for the new part of your life.
 
It’s coming, but the work comes first.  Everything happens in cycles.  You need to have the idea.  Then you research the idea.  Make a decision and execute.  Wishes are the same way.  You decide what your wish is.  See whether it’s plausible.  Make a decision as to whether it’s achievable and then you go for it or start over.
 
It's spring here in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s time to plant the seeds.  Come up with the ideas that you might want to bring to light.
 
You’re probably at different places in your dreams.  Some could be in the execution phase, while others are coming to light.  There’s nothing wrong with taking time out of your day to dream.  What do you want the next phase of your life to look like?  It can be a more complicated question then one might think.
 
You may need to explore the depths of yourself.  You may need to discover what’s gone wrong in the past or maybe you dive all in and jump into the deep end.  The choice is yours, but it’s time to dream.

Out of Balance

Is your life out of balance?  Most likely the answer is yes.  You live in a society that is based on achievement and how much you can do in a day. 

You’re taught from an early age that you have to make sacrifices.  Life isn’t always easy.  When things come to you easily, you tend to discount them.  Why do you do this?  It could be for several reasons.  But that most likely is fear.  Fear of what the quiet will tell you.  Fear of not having enough.  Fear of standing out because you’re not doing what everyone else does.  Fear of looking stupid. 

I tend to pack my days full.  I have classes to attend, books to read, work to do.  I’m working to improve my mind and create a new way of life for myself.  It will only be temporary, but so far that has never been the case.  In one of my astrology classes, I learned that a shadow side for me is to do, do, do.  Boy did that one hit home.  That’s exactly what I do.  Relaxation and I have never had a good relationship.  Even when I do take time to “relax”, it includes reading or watching television.  I should be outside!  I feel better when I do, but life gets in the way.

Life balance isn’t easy.  It takes work.  It’s not what’s expected of you.  If you decide to not follow the “normal” path, you will probably get some pushback whether it be from yourself or those around you.

It’s easy to say that I should do this, but it can be hard to implement.  Your life is craving balance, and you’re not alone.  Mine is too.  It’s time to stop doing, doing, doing, and go, go, go, and just be.  What that looks like for you or me, I can’t tell you.  My first step is to say that I need more balance in my life.  That could mean that you take that walk-in nature or maybe you do something for fun, like just dance for no reason at all.

Curveball Coming!

Did you get a curveball thrown your way?  Something that you completely didn’t expect.  Or maybe something that you’ve been trying to avoid, and you received some news about.
 
It can be upsetting or challenging to get some news, and other times you’re jumping for joy that it happened.  Either option can change your life for better or worse.  Sometimes what you need is to take a step back and gain a little perspective.  Or maybe you’re being triggered and meant to confront it, so you can address it and become more empowered in your life.
 
Triggers are a challenge.  They’re meant to teach you something, but at that moment all you can do is think or feel what’s happening.
 
You don’t want to deal with it right now.  It’s not the time.  It’s not the place.  You have other things to do.  There are a number of reasons why.  Life will normally trigger you at the worst possible moment.  A conversation that will leave you emotional right before you need to be somewhere.  A difficult moment right in front of your co-workers.
 
You don’t want to show emotion in these moments.  You don’t want to seem defeated, angry, or name an emotion, but you’re meant to feel the emotion.  The emotion is what will help you to process the trigger.
 
Give yourself time to process the trigger, develop an action plan and gain some perspective.  Confronting your triggers is the only way for you to truly become empowered.
 
Triggers aren’t mean to be an annoyance, they just happen that way.  Triggers are meant to move you forward.  Triggers are meant to move you forward.  If you choose to ignore your trigger, that’s ok too, but it will come back.  Until you confront it, it will always return.  And the next thing it will be a little more annoying.
