Did You Have An Awakening?

Last week a chapter in your life ended and a new one is beginning.  Was there a trickle effect where the information slowly came to you or did you have a moment where it just happened?  Either way is possible and leads the way into this week.  You’re going to take that moment and move it forward.

Venus enters the sign of Cancer this week on May 7 at 10:25 am.  You may feel more sensitive and emotional or you could be very needy and moody.  One is the light side of Cancer and one is the dark side.  Venus enjoys being in Cancer.  This could be an opportunity for you to feel the effects of what has taken place.  Get in touch with your emotions.  Hear what they have to tell you and use it to your advantage.

The Sun in Taurus will conjunct Uranus in Taurus on May 9 at 3:36 pm.  Uranus, the planet of revolution and change, may just rattle your sense of safety and security.  You may have already been feeling off-center from the revelations of the eclipse and Uranus may just shake things up a little more.  What are you supposed to do?  Try and sit with the emotions that are coming up.  Is it fear coming up?  What does all of this mean?  What will happen now?  Take deep breaths until you can think clearly.  It’s easy to make impulsive decisions that you may regret later.  Be in the moment and see what comes to you and what direction you want to go.

Don’t worry if nothing big changes in your life.  You may already be on the right path and only needed some minor course corrections.  You may also see changes over the next 6 months to a year.  Eclipse energy doesn’t always happen the day of, but can unfold over time.

Breakdown to Breakthrough

Do you feel the momentum building?  You can feel it in the air around you.  Uranus in Taurus has been conjunct the North Node in Taurus for the last few weeks, but on August 1 at 4:53 pm, Mars in Taurus will conjunct this same point.
 
Uranus is the planet of awakening and revolution and the North Node is a point that you’re working towards.  Mars is the planet of action and activation.  Mars, Uranus, and the North Node are all in the sign of Taurus, a fixed sign that is extremely resistant to change but is seeking security, stability, comfort, and practicality. 
 
If you’ve been resistant to change, this may be the point where you feel like you have no choice, but to change.  When the North Node is involved in a chart, it can feel like a fated moment.  You have no other option, but to go in this new direction.  While Taurus is a fixed sign and is resistant to change, it is also one of growth.  Taurus season is when the seeds that were planted start coming to life.
 
The last two years, you’ve spent a lot of time envisioning a new future and planting the seeds for what you want to come.  Now is the time, ready or not, here it comes.  If you’ve been doing the work, you will begin to see the sprouts start to come out.  If you’ve been resistant, then it’s time for some unpredictability.  Taurus is a fixed sign, so it loves control, but the more you try and control something, the more unstable it can become.
 
Expect some surprises this week.  Whether you’re ready or not, you’re moving in a new direction.  Some things have to break down so that a breakthrough can occur.  This is that moment.  Do you have the breakdown during the earthquake or as part of the aftershocks?  Only time will tell. 
 
Try to move with the change.  It can be a challenge, especially in the moment.  Take a deep breath.  It’s time for you to grow and growth can be exhausting. Just look at children and how much they rest during a growth spurt.  Use this as your model for the week.  Try and take a time out if possible.  Remove yourself from the chaos that may be around you and search for clarity.  It’s there if you take the time to look.
