Variety is the Spice of Life

Have you been receiving clarity over the last few weeks about what makes your heart sing?  What do you really want in life?  Leo season is all about connecting to the heart.  The sun is in Leo until August 22, so the sun is shining a light on this area of your life.  Venus entered the sign of Leo on August 11, so now the planet of love and beauty has gotten in on the action, but Mars is leaving behind the sign of Taurus on August 20 and entering Gemini, the sign of communication.  It’s time to get social.
 
There hasn’t been a lot of air in the sky, so even though you may have been receiving clarity, you haven’t felt like sharing it with anyone.  That is about to change.  Gemini loves to chat and get excited about something new.  Geminis tend to thrive on change and are interested in doing many things at one time.  Mars is all about action and drive, so Mars is going to be helping you to speak about what you want. 
 
One thing about manifesting something that you want to bring into your life is that you have to speak it aloud.  Every time I have been looking for a new job, from the time that I begin to mention it, the universe starts working behind the scenes and I have typically had a new job within a few weeks. 
 
This is the time to start speaking about what you want to change.  What does your heart want as you move forward?  It may seem small or absolutely crazy.  It’s not a time for judgment.  What do you want?  This is the time to start manifesting.  Talk about it with your friends and family.  You never know where that one conversation might begin to take you.
 
The most challenging part of manifestation is letting it go.  You often want to control the outcome.  Try not to control the outcome.  The South Node in Scorpio will help you to let go of that need.

Aftershocks

Wow!  Last week may have been an intense one, but the energy hasn’t dissipated.  You’re still being challenged this week with some aspects.
 
Mars in Taurus will be Square Saturn in Aquarius on August 7 at 12:57 pm.  Mars is feeling frustrated by Saturn’s restrictiveness.  It can also feel overwhelmed at times by all the obstacles that seem to be thrown in its way.
 
Venus in Cancer is Opposite Pluto in Capricorn on August 19 at 1:18 am.  A lot of feelings have been coming to the surface over the last weeks or even months.  These aren’t feelings or issues that should be brushed aside.  They are leading you in a new direction.  If you ignore these revelations, it can lead to even more disruptive energy.  Relationships are intensifying. Things aren’t meant to be the same when Pluto is done with it.
 
The Sun in Leo is getting into the Uranus in Taurus action with a Square on August 11 at 5:53 am.  The Sun is shining a spotlight on Uranus’ growing impatience with the status quo.  It’s time to break free and allow the revelations to come to light. 
 
Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto aspects can seemingly change the world as you know it and have done it over the last few years.  Big reveals have come to light and you can’t go backward.  It’s time to be present and see what is meant to unfold for you.  You may want to know the future and especially with the energy in Taurus, control what that future looks like, but it’s just not possible.    
 
You are being guided in a new direction.  It may not always feel that way.  It’s easy to question what’s going on and why hasn’t it happened.  You did exactly what you were supposed to and look where you are.  Just remember it's not over yet.  You're still in the shake-up and things haven’t begun to settle back down.  Just be patient and do your best to go with the flow and deal with the repercussions.

Breakdown to Breakthrough

Do you feel the momentum building?  You can feel it in the air around you.  Uranus in Taurus has been conjunct the North Node in Taurus for the last few weeks, but on August 1 at 4:53 pm, Mars in Taurus will conjunct this same point.
 
Uranus is the planet of awakening and revolution and the North Node is a point that you’re working towards.  Mars is the planet of action and activation.  Mars, Uranus, and the North Node are all in the sign of Taurus, a fixed sign that is extremely resistant to change but is seeking security, stability, comfort, and practicality. 
 
If you’ve been resistant to change, this may be the point where you feel like you have no choice, but to change.  When the North Node is involved in a chart, it can feel like a fated moment.  You have no other option, but to go in this new direction.  While Taurus is a fixed sign and is resistant to change, it is also one of growth.  Taurus season is when the seeds that were planted start coming to life.
 
The last two years, you’ve spent a lot of time envisioning a new future and planting the seeds for what you want to come.  Now is the time, ready or not, here it comes.  If you’ve been doing the work, you will begin to see the sprouts start to come out.  If you’ve been resistant, then it’s time for some unpredictability.  Taurus is a fixed sign, so it loves control, but the more you try and control something, the more unstable it can become.
 
Expect some surprises this week.  Whether you’re ready or not, you’re moving in a new direction.  Some things have to break down so that a breakthrough can occur.  This is that moment.  Do you have the breakdown during the earthquake or as part of the aftershocks?  Only time will tell. 
 
Try to move with the change.  It can be a challenge, especially in the moment.  Take a deep breath.  It’s time for you to grow and growth can be exhausting. Just look at children and how much they rest during a growth spurt.  Use this as your model for the week.  Try and take a time out if possible.  Remove yourself from the chaos that may be around you and search for clarity.  It’s there if you take the time to look.
