Negotiations

Hope you had a nice break from the regular daily rhythm.  Whether you spent it with family, friends, or tackling items on your holiday to-do list.  It’s the to-do list that’s going to present you with some issues this week.

Mars is still retrograde in the sign of Gemini.  Gemini normally has at least two choices and with it being in retrograde, you may have four, six, or eight choices.  This week Mercury opposes Mars on November 29 at 3:30 pm and Venus opposes it on December 1 at 12:28 am.  It’s a week of negotiating between those choices.  Do you want this or do you want that?

Mercury in Sagittarius can be known for its frankness, so there could also be some bruised egos amongst others as you’re negotiating these options.  It’s important to gather as much information as you possibly can to make an informed choice.  With Sagittarius energy, it can be really easy to be impatient and think that you know better.  Let that Gemini energy of curiosity out.  Ask questions.  It’s important to not jump to conclusions.

Mercury in Sagittarius will also square Neptune in Pisces on December 1 at 8:08 pm.  You may not be seeing things as clearly as you should in order to make a choice, but Neptune will station direct on December 3 at 7:15 pm.  Another planet is moving forward, and more pieces will come together.

Have some patience and remember that negotiations are essential right now.  You might not get everything you want, but you could come close if you can be open to the possibilities.

Breakdown to Breakthrough

Do you feel the momentum building?  You can feel it in the air around you.  Uranus in Taurus has been conjunct the North Node in Taurus for the last few weeks, but on August 1 at 4:53 pm, Mars in Taurus will conjunct this same point.

Uranus is the planet of awakening and revolution and the North Node is a point that you’re working towards.  Mars is the planet of action and activation.  Mars, Uranus, and the North Node are all in the sign of Taurus, a fixed sign that is extremely resistant to change but is seeking security, stability, comfort, and practicality.

If you’ve been resistant to change, this may be the point where you feel like you have no choice, but to change.  When the North Node is involved in a chart, it can feel like a fated moment.  You have no other option, but to go in this new direction.  While Taurus is a fixed sign and is resistant to change, it is also one of growth.  Taurus season is when the seeds that were planted start coming to life.

The last two years, you’ve spent a lot of time envisioning a new future and planting the seeds for what you want to come.  Now is the time, ready or not, here it comes.  If you’ve been doing the work, you will begin to see the sprouts start to come out.  If you’ve been resistant, then it’s time for some unpredictability.  Taurus is a fixed sign, so it loves control, but the more you try and control something, the more unstable it can become.

Expect some surprises this week.  Whether you’re ready or not, you’re moving in a new direction.  Some things have to break down so that a breakthrough can occur.  This is that moment.  Do you have the breakdown during the earthquake or as part of the aftershocks?  Only time will tell.

Try to move with the change.  It can be a challenge, especially in the moment.  Take a deep breath.  It’s time for you to grow and growth can be exhausting. Just look at children and how much they rest during a growth spurt.  Use this as your model for the week.  Try and take a time out if possible.  Remove yourself from the chaos that may be around you and search for clarity.  It’s there if you take the time to look.

Karmic Point

The early part of the week could feel relaxing after the energy of the last few weeks.  The intensity will give you a brief reprieve before it’s time for the first Karmic choice point.

Mercury is stationing direct on June 3 in Taurus.  You should have had some big reveals over the last few weeks.  Mercury has been telling you secrets and giving you information that you need so that you can make some big decisions.

On June 4, Saturn will station to go retrograde in the sign of Aquarius.  Saturn will remain retrograde until October 23.  Saturn is beginning to take you in a new direction.  The period of confusion and stagnation will come to a close and even though it may seem counterintuitive with a retrograde planet, Saturn in Aquarius wants to you explore your future.  What should it look like?  Is the life that you’re living, the one that you really want to be living?

You have a choice to make.  If you’ve been paying attention, you’ve been getting information about the direction and choices that you’ve made so far.  Do you want to keep going down that path or is time to choose a new one?  Choosing a new path is never easy.  It’s so much easier to continue down the known path, even when you’re unhappy.

You’re here on this planet for a reason.  It may not always seem obvious, but it’s there.  The parts of yourself that can seem uncomfortable, maybe part of your mission in this life.  As a child, I always wanted to be like everyone else.  I wanted to fit.  I never felt like I belonged.  As I’ve gotten older, the harder I tried to fit in, the harder it was for me to continue down that path.  One day, I began to realize that I was never going to be like everyone else, I just had to learn to be me.  After years of trying to be like everyone else, I first had to figure out who I was.  But then, I had to learn to be me.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been getting more information about who I am and what has been holding me back.  Like you, I’m at a choice point.  I can make a different choice and grow or I can remain where I am.  I’m not entirely sure what that new path looks like yet, but I do know that I’ve had to release some expectations of where I thought I would be.  It’s a process and one that’s not entirely finished, but I’ve started to put the intention out there and make some new choices.  It’s scary, but in the end, it will take me somewhere I never could have expected.
