Who Wins?

The two signs that Mercury rules are squaring off on September 16 at 2:49 pm, Venus in Virgo and Mars in Gemini, plus Mercury just officially when retrograde on September 9.  What does all of this mean?
 
Venus in Virgo is cautious, reserved, perfectionistic, and practical.  She wants to determine the details and check items off the to-do list.  Mars in Gemini is adaptable and social, but can also be scattered and inconsistent.  Who wins Venus or Mars?  Are you doing it to be able to get tasks accomplished or are you going to be talking it out?  It’s too early to tell.
 
Mercury retrograde can have a trickster energy, and where Mars in Gemini is in the sign of the twins, there can be a dual nature to issues or you may just have to do everything twice.  When you’re able use the energy of Virgo to take your time.  Make sure to look at everything multiple times before you hit that send button.
 
The importance of astrology comes in giving you details about what the energy looks like around you.  If you’re in tune with the energy, you can often feel it, but astrology helps you to name it.  By naming the energy, you can witness those people around you and see how the energy is impacting them and their day.  You have the option to keep on your path.  Now that is easier said than done.  There are going to be days, where the energy is going to drag you in a direction that you hadn’t anticipated.  Uranus in Taurus is still challenging you to grow and throwing unexpected curveballs your way, even if it doesn’t have a specific aspect in play.
 
By knowing the energy around you, you could be the winner.  By understanding the energy it brings you a sense of awareness that could help you.  Virgo energy also has a tendency to focus on the body, so this could be a great time to begin an exercise program and get rid of some of that excess Gemini energy, and truly focus on the tasks ahead of you. 
 
The primary point of the year 2022 is to grow.  The North Node is in Taurus.  You are meant to change.  You are meant to be different at the end of the year than you were at the beginning.  The September Equinox is drawing near and we’re entering the last 2 seasons of the year.  You still have time to make the necessary changes, but the end is drawing near.

Going Backwards

It’s time for another sign change this week and Mercury goes retrograde.  Hold on to your hats.  Venus will enter the sign of Virgo on September 5 at 12:05 am and Mercury will station to go retrograde on September 9 at 11:38 pm.
 
There will definitely be a change in your heart space when Venus leaves the sign of Leo.  Venus has been working on connecting to her heart space and figuring out what she wants.  When Venus enters the Virgo it’s time for her to become cautious, reserved, perfectionistic, and practical.  Venus in Virgo wants to determine the details.  It’s a time for you in go within and determine how to be of service. 
 
Many people are afraid of Mercury retrogrades, but it helps when you know it’s happening.  Although it helps, it doesn’t mean that you may escape the technical glitches that can take place.  Mercury is currently in Libra and will retrograde back into one of it’s home signs of Virgo.  Mercury is currently searching for balance, peace, harmony, love, and justice. How can your mind and your words best be of service to yourself and others?  Mercury retrograde is also the time of reviewing, revising, revisiting, and any other word that starts with re.  It’s time to go backward.  Are you on the right track?  Do you need to make any adjustments? 
 
With retrograde planets, you may also find that people from your past return.  They will return to give you a new perspective or maybe even a second chance before it’s time to go forward. 
 
If you know your chart, look to see what houses Virgo and Libra are in.  It can help you see what areas of your life are currently in focus.  It may seem counterintuitive, but you often have to go backwards to go forwards.  This is one of those times.  You may be missing a piece of the puzzle that you need so that you can finish a chapter of your life.  You may receive an answer that you never expected.

Time For Work

Summer is drawing to a close.  Kids will be going back to school and life will settle into a new routine as the Sun moves into Virgo on August 22 at 11:16 pm.
 
It’s time to get to work.  You’ve been receiving visions and clarity and now the Sun wants to shine a light on the work that needs to be accomplished.  It’s time to become practical and analytical and begin to take the next steps.
 
How can you accomplish the tasks ahead of you?  What do you need to do?  Make a list.  Virgos love a to-do list.  Start working your way through what needs to be done for you to work on your goals. 
 
Also, there is a second sign change this week as Mercury will enter Libra on August 25 at 9:03 pm.  Mercury will be looking for peace, love, and harmony.  It wants things to be fair and diplomatic.  More of the element of air will again enter the atmosphere and help people speak cooperatively. 
 
The week will close out with two Squares on August 27.  One is between Venus in Leo and Uranus in Taurus at 12:34 am and the second is between the Sun in Virgo Square Mars in Gemini at 4:11 pm.  Uranus in Taurus has been shaking up your world and with it Squaring Venus in Leo, it's looking to shake up how you love and connect you with your heart.  The Sun squaring Mars is shining a light on how you take action.  Are you moving forward?

Climb Every Mountain

What are your goals right now?  Do you want to lose weight, or are you working on releasing something that no longer serves you?  On January 24, Mars moved into Capricorn where it will remain until March 6.  Mars is the planet of action, drive, and ambition, while Capricorn represents your foundation and structure.  It’s time to start laying the groundwork for what you’d like to accomplish. 

Capricorn wants to know the specific steps that it’s going to take.  It’s not going to happen overnight, you’ll have to put in the time and the effort to get what it is that you desire.  There are going to be obstacles along the way, but it can be done.  Mars in Capricorn has determination and willpower to achieve what it sets out to do.  Focus your attention on what you want to accomplish. This is the perfect time to get those items checked off your list.

Remember Venus and Pluto are still in Capricorn as well.  Venus also stationed direct on January 29.  The planet of love and beauty is no longer asking us to review the past but is starting to move forward again.  Pluto, the planet of death and rebirth has been rebuilding our foundations since 2008 and he’s not done yet.  It’s time to decide what you want and to take steps.  There’s a lot of Capricorn energy in the heavens, as there has been for the last couple of years.  The tests aren’t over.  The universe wants to know, do you want this?  Do you really want this and what are you willing to do to make it happen?  You’re still headed up the mountain.  You haven’t quite reached the summit.  There’s more to learn, but a house isn’t built overnight.  It takes time.  Start working on your steps.
