Take Time to Rest

After the intensity of the last few weeks, it’s time for a little bit of breathing room.  There are mainly lunar aspects in the sky and only one planetary aspect.

The Sun in Gemini Squares Saturn in Pisces on May 28 at 6:46 am.  The need to learn and be intellectual is at odds with your need to dream and drift.  If you can take time to try both.  No matter how much you may like to learn, there comes a time when you just need to take a break.  You may start to get a headache or an opportunity will come up to do something fun.  Take time to relax, you can always accomplish tasks another day.

Here in the United States, it’s Memorial Day weekend.  It’s a time to honor those that have died in service to our country and to remember those that we’ve lost.  So many of us have it as a long weekend and take it as an opportunity to get one more project done.  Take some time to reflect on where you’ve come from.  Sometimes it's so easy just to do more and more and you can forget to rest.  Rest is so important and can even give you more energy to do the things you love.  Take some time for yourself this week and allow yourself to dream and reflect.  Goals can be accomplished another day.

Take A Chance

Aries season can be one of impulsivity, but that might now always be a bad thing.  When the Sun conjuncts Jupiter this week, it could just work to your advantage.

Venus this week enters the sign of Gemini on April 11 at 12:47 am.  Venus is going to enjoy talking things out and writing.  You may want to be more social than usual and ask lots of questions.  However, Gemini is also the sign of duality, so remember there could be another side to things or they could come in twos.

The Sun in Aries also conjuncts Jupiter in Aries on April 11 at 6:07 pm.  Jupiter expands whatever the Sun is shining a light on.  This may be a time to try something new or act in a way that you might not normally do.  Take a chance this week.  There is a tendency to think that by trying something new, the worst is always going to happen, but sometimes everything you want is on the other side of trying.  Don’t let fear hold you back.  Become a warrior and seek what you want.

Venus in Gemini will square Saturn in Pisces on April 14 at 12:38 pm.  Venus may feel a little restricted by Saturn.  She may not feel quite like herself or talk quite as much.  You feel stuck in your head and like you just feel adrift.  Remember it’s a transit and it’s temporary.

The energy has been challenging the last few weeks.  There is a kind of push-and-pull dynamic going on.  You may feel like you’re constantly taking two steps forward and one step back, but eventually, you will arrive at your destination.  Keep going and take chances.  Life is meant to be lived.

Spontaneity & Healing

The last dregs of February and the dawning of March are here.  What does that mean?  Big changes are coming, but first it's time for spontaneity and healing.

March 2 is going to be a big day.  It begins with a conjunction between Venus in Aries and Jupiter in Aries at 12:36 am. Like was talked about last week, Venus in Aries is impulsive and prefers an immediate response.  Jupiter will expand that energy and make it bigger.  It could be a big start to something new or you may have to reign in yourself or those around you to keep in check.

At 9;34 am, Mercury in Aquarius conjuncts Saturn in Aquarius.  Saturn is checking in with Mercury one last time before it moves into Pisces.  Is there something that needs to be said about your future?  Do you need to think a little bit more about your new plans before they go into place?

Mercury enters the sign of Pisces at 5:52 pm.  It’s time for Mercury to get in touch with his intuitive side.  Look for your artistic or creative side to take over or maybe you need to feel what someone else is thinking.  These are areas where Mercury in Pisces thrives.

On March 3 at 12:48 pm, Venus in Aries will conjunct Chiron in Aries.  Is there something about yourself that you need to heal in order to move forward in your plans?  This is a great time to use the Pisces energy to connect with your inner voice and the Aries energy to start something new.

Rose-Colored Glasses

The end of Aquarius season is drawing near and Pisces season is almost upon you.  It will be time to tap into the empathic, compassionate, and spiritual side of life.  The Sun will enter Pisces on February 18 at 5:34 p.m.

Although the Sun hasn’t entered Pisces yet, Venus and Neptune are both there and are meeting on February 15 at 7:25 am.  Venus loves hanging out in the sign of Pisces and can tap into her romantic side.  She can float away while dreaming and escaping and Neptune is right there with her.  Neptune will take the opportunity to escape, dream and imagine.  This is definitely a day where you are likely to see the world through rose-colored glasses, so it can be challenging if you’re searching for clarity.

The Sun in Aquarius will visit Saturn in Aquarius one last time on February 16 at 11:48 am before Saturn moves into Pisces on March 7.  This is an opportunity to check in and make sure that you’re on track before Saturn changes signs.  What have you been meant to learn while Saturn has been in Aquarius?  Are you ready to move on?  The answer as to what you’re supposed to learn is different for each person and is dependent on your own natal chart.  The sign of Aquarius can also hold a sense of idealism but can be used if you need some objectivity.

This is a time of ending patterns and wrapping up cycles, so use this week to your advantage.  Dream a little.  Try to find the best in the world, I know it can be challenging.  What contribution can you bring to make the world just a little bit better?

I Like To Move It

Are you ready?  It’s time to move forward on whatever you’ve been working on.  The last of the planets, Uranus, stations direct this week on January 22 at 5:59 pm.  For about the next 90 days, there will be no retrograde planets in the sky.  So, is something still holding you back from taking that step?

Uranus in Taurus has been demonstrating to you what is of value to you and it’s about to shift course.  It’s going to revisit the steps that you’ve been taking since late August.  How can that item or items in your life become something that is of value to you.? What do you value?  If you’re unsure it could all of a sudden become clear to you.

Also on January 22 at 5:13 pm, Venus in Aquarius conjuncts Saturn in Aquarius.  Venus is checking in with Saturn one last time for the next 30 years.  How are the rules stopping you from something that you love?  Is there a way around those limitations?  Do you need to get out of your head and speak from your heart?  Only you truly know the answers to these questions, but it may be time to stop second-guessing yourself and see where it leads.

Venus will enter the sign of Pisces on January 26 at 9:33 pm.  Venus is going to stop overthinking and start to feel.  This may be your chance to enter your heart space and let it show you what you want.  Pisces can also be the sign of romanticizing and daydreaming, so keep that in mind as you make decisions.

What are you moving forward on?  Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

What the ****!!!!

This has the possibility to be one of those weeks, especially if you have placements in Taurus, Scorpio, and Aquarius.  The line from Jurassic Park, “hold on to your butt” comes to mind.  The Sun, Venus, and Mercury, all in Scorpio, are traveling in a pack at the moment and are interacting with Saturn in Aquarius and Uranus in Taurus this week, plus we have a Lunar Eclipse on November 8.

Venus in Scorpio kicks off the week squaring Saturn in Aquarius on November 7 at 2:34 am.  How are your passions conflicted by the limitations of the collective?  Both are fixed energies but are different in their approaches.  Scorpio has a deep and intense energy, while Aquarius is more logical and scientific.  How can those two energies find a way forward?

On November 8, we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse (Moon in Taurus Opposite Sun in Scorpio) at 6:02 am.  Not only is it an Eclipse, but here in the United States, it’s Election Day.  How is the process of releasing what no longer serves you going?  Are you making progress?  The universe wants you to grow and will do whatever it can to get your attention.  The process of death and rebirth is happening.  The process of dying and growing can both be painful.  Life isn’t meant to be easy.  You are here to learn.  What are you being shown?

A few hours later the Sun in Scorpio is Conjunct Mercury in Scorpio at 11:42 am.  They are reporting to each other on how this process is going and coming up with a plan for the rest of the week.  At 9:40 pm, Mercury in Scorpio will oppose Uranus in Taurus, and then on November 9 at 3:26 am, the Sun will Oppose Uranus.  Are you being awakened to a new reality?

Just a note on the election.  What do you value?  What is the most important to you?  The tensions in the sky (Squares and Oppositions) have two different points of view.  This has been evident this Election season and will definitely be evident on Election Day.  Have some patience for this process to unfold because things aren’t going to be known right away.

We revisit the energy from the beginning of the week when Mercury in Scorpio Squares Saturn in Aquarius on November 10 at 2:52 am and then the Sun Squares Saturn on November 11 at 3:04 am.  How does the tension in the way that you communicate change and what are you being shown?  The Sun is trying to tell you something.  Can you see it and what can you do about it?

What are these tensions teaching you?  Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Deep Dive Into the Shadow

The season of Scorpio kicks into motion this week as Venus, the Sun, and Mercury all enter the sign of Scorpio.  Also, there’s a New Moon Eclipse in Scorpio on October 25 at 6:49 am.

Scorpio tends to be a sign that is misunderstood.  Most people don’t like exploring the darkness of life and that’s where the sign of Scorpio thrives.  Scorpio likes to explore the shadow side of life.  If you can meet your shadow and work on the triggers that arise, you can find the areas that you need to address in order to grow.

A lot happens astrologically this week, especially Sunday.  Saturn stations direct on October 23 at 12:07 am.  Saturn is still in the sign of Aquarius.  In general terms, Saturn is addressing the collective and the direction we’re headed since our structures have been dismantled.  What does the future look like?  Saturn has been revisiting the past while retrograding and is now ready to examine what it learned.

Venus will enter Scorpio on October 23 at 3:52 am.  The planet of love and beauty will drop into the underworld, where the Sun joins her a couple of hours later at 6:36 am.

Jupiter will retrograde back into Pisces on October 8 at 1:10 am.  Jupiter is still looking back and is re-examining what was going on before May 10.  It’s giving another opportunity for expansion, which won’t happen until Jupiter goes direct on November 23.

The last of the personal planets, Mercury, will enter Scorpio on October 29 at 3:22 pm.

It can seem terrifying to confront your shadow, but the only thing to do with fear is to move through it and face it.  Otherwise your fear can control you.  It’s time to meet your shadow and follow the triggers.

Karmic Point

The early part of the week could feel relaxing after the energy of the last few weeks.  The intensity will give you a brief reprieve before it’s time for the first Karmic choice point.

Mercury is stationing direct on June 3 in Taurus.  You should have had some big reveals over the last few weeks.  Mercury has been telling you secrets and giving you information that you need so that you can make some big decisions.

On June 4, Saturn will station to go retrograde in the sign of Aquarius.  Saturn will remain retrograde until October 23.  Saturn is beginning to take you in a new direction.  The period of confusion and stagnation will come to a close and even though it may seem counterintuitive with a retrograde planet, Saturn in Aquarius wants to you explore your future.  What should it look like?  Is the life that you’re living, the one that you really want to be living?

You have a choice to make.  If you’ve been paying attention, you’ve been getting information about the direction and choices that you’ve made so far.  Do you want to keep going down that path or is time to choose a new one?  Choosing a new path is never easy.  It’s so much easier to continue down the known path, even when you’re unhappy.

You’re here on this planet for a reason.  It may not always seem obvious, but it’s there.  The parts of yourself that can seem uncomfortable, maybe part of your mission in this life.  As a child, I always wanted to be like everyone else.  I wanted to fit.  I never felt like I belonged.  As I’ve gotten older, the harder I tried to fit in, the harder it was for me to continue down that path.  One day, I began to realize that I was never going to be like everyone else, I just had to learn to be me.  After years of trying to be like everyone else, I first had to figure out who I was.  But then, I had to learn to be me.

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been getting more information about who I am and what has been holding me back.  Like you, I’m at a choice point.  I can make a different choice and grow or I can remain where I am.  I’m not entirely sure what that new path looks like yet, but I do know that I’ve had to release some expectations of where I thought I would be.  It’s a process and one that’s not entirely finished, but I’ve started to put the intention out there and make some new choices.  It’s scary, but in the end, it will take me somewhere I never could have expected.

What new path are you in the process of taking?    Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.
