Green Means Go

The energy doesn’t always work in your favor.  You may want something to happen and you want it to happen now, but the universe has applied the brake.  No matter what you seem to do nothing is moving forward, but there will start to be some motion again as Mars will station to go direct on January 12 at 3:56 pm.

Mars has been retrograde in the sign of Gemini since the end of October.  The planet of action and competition has been restless, social, and expressive.  Because of the airy nature of Mars, it seems like there’s just been a lot of talk and not much is happening.  It has been difficult to just get done what you need to and any changes that you wanted to make were put on the back burner until a better time.  Well, that time is coming.

Mars will start retracing its steps and going back over those ideas and start to come up with a plan to go forward.  Mars will join the ranks of the other direct planets and once Mercury stations retrograde on January 18, it will be full steam ahead and you’re ready to go.

Review what you’ve been working on and decide whether you want to move forward or if the plan needs a little more time to percolate.  There’s nothing wrong with taking a little time to think it over, but sooner or later, you have to just go.

Venus in Aquarius will square Uranus in Taurus on January 14 at 8:22 pm.  Spend some time with your friends or community, there may just be an aha moment that takes things in a new direction.

Confident or Angry

How have you been emotional over the last week?  Lots of emotions have been rising to the surface.  You’ve been receiving clarity about the direction that you’re going to be taking.  You’ll need that information as you begin this week.

Mercury is still retrograde, but on May 22, it’s going back into the sign of Taurus.  If you’ve been feeling ungrounded, this is great energy to help you feel more stable in your way of thinking.

On May 24, Mars is going to enter the sign of Aries, the sign of the ram and the warrior.  The positive form of Mars in Aries is a sense of confidence and a readiness to take action.  The negative form can be feelings of anger. Whether you’re in the positive or the negative only matters in so much as it tells you where you stand in that given moment.  It can be fluid and you can move between them.

The key is to pay attention to what you’re feeling.  If you are feeling angry, take a deep breath.  Why are you feeling angry?  Maybe it’s something that you’re meant to work through.  When you’re angry, you’re rising towards empowerment.  You don’t want to discount what you’re feeling or try to suppress it.  It’s meant to be expressed, but it must be conveyed in a way that is healthy for you and those around you.

Look at the world.  There are way too many people that go around and use their anger toward others who don’t deserve it.  Try and look at your anger objectively.  Are you in a place where it can be expressed safely?  If you are, great.  Find a way to direct that anger in a healthy manner.  If not, you’re going to continue to take some deep breaths and use those breaths to control your emotions. If you can, walk away and come back to the anger when you’re in a better place.

Anger is tricky.  It can seemingly come out of nowhere and take you by surprise.  Normally this is because something has been suppressed, which is why you want to state it, but you don’t want to unleash it.  If you’re feeling angry, it can be a great time to talk with a coach or someone else who isn’t connected to what you’re experiencing.

Mars in Aries will take those emotions that you’ve been feeling and channel them in a positive or negative way.  Which path are you going to choose?   Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Always & Forever,

Don’t Be Like Everyone Else

It can be a challenge to just be yourself and either not wish you were someone else or that you had what someone else has, but this is the time to be yourself.  Don’t conform to other people’s expectations of you.    Mars in Aquarius is Square Uranus in Taurus on March 22.

The sign of Aquarius wants us to be unique and march to the beat of our own drum, while Uranus in Taurus is changing our relationships with each other.  In addition to our views of love and abundance.

Mars Square Uranus is likely to bring up feelings of impatience and a need to break free, whether it be from the rules of life or the completion of tasks.  It’s going to be challenging to get a lot accomplished under this aspect.  If you find time from all of the rule-breaking and feel like accomplishing a task, this is a great time to be creative.  The energy level is high so it’s a great time to tap into your intuition and see what comes through you.

As human beings, you want to fit in.  You want to belong, and there are times when you will morph who you are to accomplish those goals.  This is not one of those times.  Be who you are.  It’s not never easy, but there’s nothing better than standing in your own power and not apologizing for being who you are.  Stand tall and be proud of yourself.  You are unique and that’s something to be appreciated and valued.  You be you.

Often during the most challenging times of your life is when you learn the most about yourself.  When you are forced to grow and change, things that you never dreamed of could happen, all of a sudden happen.  Go where the wind blows you.  Feelings may still come up, let them.  It can be challenging to stand your power and be who you’re meant to be.  Don’t let those feelings sway you from harnessing the energy to your advantage.

What are you breaking free from?  Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Venus In Reverse

Venus, the planet of love and beauty, went retrograde on December 21, 2021, in the sign of Capricorn, where it remains in retrograde until January 29, 2022. What does that mean?

You’re being asked to revisit the past.  What have you learned about love? Capricorn represents your structure or foundation. What are your feelings of love based on? Depending upon whether you use the mean or the true node, the North Node is switching from Gemini to Taurus and the South Node from Sagittarius to Scorpio, which asks what wounds are rising for the surface for you to release.

Wounds are challenging. They can sneak up on you just when you think you’ve let them go.  I’ve been working on releasing emotional baggage for a few years now, just when I think I’m getting there, another layer rises to the surface.  I’ve been thinking about love and what it means to me now and what it has meant to me in the past.  I grew up with a lot of friends and family who I knew loved me, but an event with someone who I thought was my friend began to change what I had thought about love. Suddenly love brought pain and hurt.  As an 11-year-old, I couldn’t process what that meant.  I had trouble trusting myself. I had thought this person was my friend. How could I have been so wrong? I had trouble trusting others. Did they have ulterior motives? Were they out to get something from me? Once they got it, would they be gone?

It took time to put the pieces together and start to move forward. For years I lived in the pain and didn’t know how to begin.  As I approached my 30th birthday, I knew my life wasn’t what I wanted it to be.  I found Reiki. I started to heal. I started to find friends who met me on a new level. I started to open up, but along the way, I encountered betrayal again.

I reacted differently this time. I stopped trusting that one person instead of everyone, but I found this wound was still keeping me from moving forward.  I need to do some work. Wounds work in layers. There are layers to peel away.

What wound do you need to clear right now?  Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

It’s the Season of Light!

Some of you might think it’s too early to be looking ahead to Christmas.  I start decorating right after Thanksgiving, so I’m not in that camp.  The Sun moved into Sagittarius late in the day on November 21. For me, the Sun moving into Sagittarius signals the beginning of the Season of Light.

Sagittarius is a sign of wisdom, but also of hope and optimism. Something that you and everyone could use a little more of this year. The switch from Scorpio to Sagittarius is one where the energy can be felt. The release from the intensity of Scorpio is a welcome bit of relief. We’ve just given thanks for what we have, and the Sun doesn’t move into Capricorn until December 21.  For me, it’s the season of driving at night and seeing lights on people’s homes.  Just that alone can make the world seem like a happier place.

With everything that has been happening this year, it’s important to occasionally take a time out from the hustle and bustle and trying to figure out where you’re going and just be where you are.  To live in the present moment. To be optimistic, but not set in your ways, for how life could be. Maybe the world could agree to disagree and accept you and your neighbor for who they are. We so want to be right that we may have lost sight of what is true, or even beyond what is true, and acting from a place of love and empathy for our neighbor. It’s a hard standard to live by sometimes. It’s so easy to get wrapped up in the goings-on of the day, but an ideal to hold nonetheless.

So, during this season, when it can feel like consumerism has gone mad and every decision is about what you’re spending to show people that you love and care for them, maybe take a minor detour.  Spend time with the people that you care about and be appreciative of what you have. If life has taught us anything in the last couple of years, it is that life is fragile and can change in an instant. You can’t go back, no matter how hard you want to, and the future can’t be predicted. You only have this moment to do with as you may. Show the people that you care about how much and look to the light for answers.

What does this season have to teach you? Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

It’s A Time To Heal!

There’s been so much going on energetically.  What are you to do?  You’re being given information and guidance, the key is to listen and begin to heal.

Healing can occur on three different levels: the physical, the emotional, and the spiritual.  When you’re encountering an issue, you never know which plane the problem is on.  The key is to locate the issue, the plane then begin your work using whatever modality works for you.  Reiki and trauma work tend to be what works best for me, but you could be different.

If you can catch an issue early before it has settled and has time to cause physical problems, the better off you are.  It’s important to remember that most things don’t happen overnight, illness and healing included.

The universe has been giving you guidance.  Bringing secrets to the surface and revealing information.  What you do is up to you?  But you’re not mean to sit with that information forever.  You’re supposed to do something with it.  Why not begin the process of healing yourself?

Healing is a process.  It’s like an onion.  You’re going to encounter layer upon layer before you get to the core of the issue.  It took time to get you to this point and it will take you time to “heal” it.

It’s ok to take breaks along the way.  Healing doesn’t happen all at once and doesn’t always make sense, but it’s one of the most important gifts that you’ll ever give yourself.  The gift of healing gives you a better you.

What do you need to heal? Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Give It A Go

Are you afraid to try something new or even something that you did a long time ago?  Sometimes you have to be brave to try either one.

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, the term bravery is “the quality or state of having or showing mental or moral strength to face danger, fear, or difficulty.”  While bravery may often show up in times of war, it can just as easily be used to define a person that’s willing to face their fears.

Facing your fears doesn’t just mean running into a burning building either.  It could be something that’s held you back for months or years.   It could be as simple as trying something.

As a child, I was never a great roller skater, but I could roller skate.  However, I haven’t been roller skating in at least 20 years.  I decided recently I was going to try.  I didn’t even know if I’d be able to stand up.  I bought a helmet and put on the roller skates.  Surprise, I could stand up!  Moving around is a different story.  I do great skating on the grass, but the cement is trickier.  My niece and nephew took my hand to help.  At the end of a half-hour on skates, I decided that I should purchase some pads.  It would have been so easy to criticize myself.  I used to be able to do this and now I can’t.  But I decided to applaud myself for trying and once my pads I will try again.

Maybe for you, it's not roller skates, but the story still applies.  Did you try?  If you did, it takes bravery to face rejection or getting hurt to try.  You don’t know unless you try.  Don’t lash out at yourself because it wasn’t perfect, or you lost ground.  It rarely is.  The point is what did you do that you might have otherwise.

If you tried, you were brave.  If you didn’t, there’s always tomorrow.  There are days where you’re going to get stuck in your head.  That’s ok.  You might have to work towards it.  That’s ok too.

Nobody says that you must accomplish everything today.  It can be a progression towards your goal.  The question is did you try?

What have you been brave about?  Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

What Lights You Up?

Awakenings are typically challenging and that’s exactly what you’ve been going through.  An awakening to what?  It’s different to everyone.

You’re being shown a different way to life.  What do you value?  Who are you?  Each of these are valid questions that can change over the course of time.  You’re meant to shift and evolve as a person.

You came into this life with certain traits and characteristics, but even those have a light side and a shadow side.  Part of your mission is the life is to step out of the shadows and into the light.

Just you as a person, a business can change and evolve.  When I first started my business almost 2 years ago now, I have one set of skills and I’m working on evolving some of my lesser formed skills.  The most prevalent being astrology.  I’ve always loved astrology, but couldn’t figure out how to put the pieces together.  I’ve taken several courses, but this week the how was revealed to me.

Part of coaching is accountability.  You’re my accountability over the new few months. I’m going to being doing practice astrology charts for you, if you’re interested.  The only way for me to learn is to do.  If you’re interested in being on my list in June or July, hit reply and let me know.

Like me, you’ve been learning something and shifting it into something different.  You’re meant to evolve.  You’re sent here to learn.  Life would be boring if you never learned anything new.

Evolution is a natural part of life.  You’re not meant to be the same.  You’re meant to travel a path.  That path will have a fork in the road that can go different ways.  The path you choose is yours.  You’re allowed to make different choices now, then you would’ve in the past.  It’s a natural progression.

Where do you want to go?  Who do you want to evolve into?  They’re important questions for you to ask yourself.  These questions matter.  The answers will help to shape your future.

What evolution do you want to make?  Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Surrender

One of the most challenging things you might ever do is to learn to surrender.  You have a tendency to want to control.  To control how something happens.  Eek!  You get an idea in your head.  You may even try to force it to happen in the way you’ve seen.  But unfortunately, that’s not how things work.  You’re meant to do some work to bring that something to fruition, but the unfolding isn’t up to you. What a bummer!  You can do, do, do all you want, and somethings just won’t happen no matter what you do.   It could be you’re trying too hard or not hard enough.  Like that makes any sense.

There’s a balance that you need to learn to walk.  The only thing you can control is yourself.  You can’t force someone else to change, no matter how much you want to.  You can’t control how someone else feels.  You can’t make something happen when you want it to.  It would be easier if it didn’t.

There’s a plan for you.  Things in your life don’t always operate on your timetable.  You need to learn to surrender.  Now you may be thinking how do I do that?  Each person is a little different.  Ultimately like anything else the more you work on yourself, the more things will start to fall into place, and you won’t want to control the outcome anymore.

Surrendering is a practice.  It’s a place within yourself that is confident.  One that knows that things will happen as they’re meant to.  One day you may do well, the next might be more challenging.  The practice isn’t always easy.  It’s something that you work towards.  You learn to work through your fears, your desires, and your pride to open up and allow courage to enter your life.

Have the courage to surrender to your dreams.  Work on yourself.  Feel comfortable within yourself.  What you want will come, it may not be in the package you envisioned or happen how you would like, but it will come if you can step back and surrender.

What do you need to surrender?   Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

What Did You Find Out?

Did you have a realization?  Any epiphany this last week?  If you did, great!   If not, that is ok.  You might not have put the pieces together or there could be another reason altogether.

But let’s speak about when you did have the realization.  Did pieces seem to come together?  Do you know you next steps?  Maybe not quite yet.  It’s a process after all.  Every person is different.  Sometimes you’re drip-fed information.  Other times it just dawns on you.

The bigger question is what do you do with the information?  It depends on what it is.  Maybe you’ve learned something about yourself and how you’ve behaved in the past.  You can take that information and change how you react in the present moment.  Maybe you’ve kept yourself from revealing something in the past, so you work up the courage to reveal it now.  You might not be ready yet, but you’re ready to work on it.  Wherever you choose to start is what’s best for you.

The point is that you make a shift.  You use the epiphany to help you move forward towards the life or wish you desire.  We don’t have realizations to do nothing with them.  We’re meant to make adjustments.  We’re not supposed to have static lives.  Evolution is important to who you are as a person.  It can change your life if you allow it.

Have you been having lots of dreams lately?  Your messages could be coming through your dreams or a song that you hear repeatedly on the radio.  We’re given the information; we don’t always realize what it means.

If you’re still having trouble, talk it out with someone else.  Maybe that conversation will lead you where you’re meant to go.

Use what you’ve found out to take steps towards your goals.  You can achieve them.

What have you realized?  Let me know. Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.
