No Middle Ground

It’s officially Libra season and fall here in the Northern Hemisphere.  Libra is all about compromise and balance, but there seems to be very little willingness to compromise this week.  This week people would rather be right than move forward.

Mars in Libra Opposes Chiron in Aries on September 24 at 4:06 pm.  Mars wants to act even if it's not perfect or ready just to move forward, but Chiron in Aries either wants it to be right or has to be right before it can even consider moving forward.  Compromise would be a great option if both sides are willing to give a little, but that might not be in the cards.  The other option is to put it on the back burner and move on to something else until an agreement can be made.

Venus in Leo Squares Uranus in Taurus on September 29 at 1:53 pm.  This is the 3rd and final pass of something that you’ve already visited around July 2 and July 23.  Have you been connecting to what you truly want in your heart?  Have you been putting in the work and the effort to grow and become a better person?  If you have, great!  If you haven’t, you may be in for a shakeup.  Things can’t stay the way they are, and the universe is ready to begin implementing its plan.

Mood Volatility

Last week you received some clarity about a situation in your life.  Hold on to that clarity because as Mercury starts to move out of its station you have the potential to swing between clarity and confusion.  Feelings can change in an instant.  Keep faith that all will be okay.

Venus in Leo Squares Jupiter in Taurus on September 17 at 2:10 am.  This is Venus and Jupiter’s third and final square of the year.  The first was in the beginning of June and the second was in late August.  What is the path your heart wants you to take?  There may have been roadblocks put in your way, but ultimately do you know what you want?  There may be a conflict between what you want and what you’re willing to commit to.  Venus and Jupiter want to find an alignment between the two.

The Sun in Virgo Opposes Neptune in Pisces on September 19 at 7:17 am. You may be confused again.  Things don’t seem as clear as they did.  Feelings are getting in the way.  This is all temporary.  Things may not be as they seem.   Remember what is real.  If it seems too good to be true, it may be.  Look things up and see if there is more to the story.

The Sun enters Libra on September 23 at 2:50 am.  It’s time to look for some balance.  Socialize.  Have fun with friends.  The Sun wants to spend time with others.  Focus on your relationships, but also find time for yourself.  Don’t give all of your energy away to those around you.

Back to Work

Still feeling stuck?  With all of the retrograde energy, it's felt like one step forward and steps backward.  The retrograde energy is still present, but with a little bit of Virgo energy thrown into the mix, you could move forward a little bit.

Venus stations direct on September 3 at 9:20 pm.  Since Venus is still in the sign of Leo, it's time to take care of yourself.  Keep in mind that it's not always an outside job, sometimes you need to focus on the inside to get to the outside.

Jupiter is going retrograde on September 4 at 10:10 am.  Jupiter in Taurus has been searching for new beginnings and growth, but it’s time to look back over the steps that you’ve taken.  Are you making progress?  If not, search within and see what’s holding you back.  Is your pride getting in the way of admitting that you’ve made a mistake or from admitting that you’re wrong?  It could be any number of things, but keep an eye out for the education that Jupiter wants to provide you.

The Sun in Virgo Conjuncts Mercury in Virgo on September 6 at 7:09 am.  The Sun wants to get to work.  The Sun in Virgo wants to serve and Mercury in Virgo is ready to discuss how.  How can you accomplish your goals?  Virgo wants them to be perfect, but life isn’t perfect.  Sometimes just moving forward is better than never starting.

Follow Your Intuition

The energy of the last few weeks has been tiring and even though there haven’t been lots of aspects, those that have been present have packed a punch.  This week there will be several different energies all at the same time and Mercury is stationing to go retrograde, so technology will be acting up.

On August 22, there are two aspects.  Venus in Leo Squares Jupiter in Taurus at 8:16 am.  What does your heart want and is it helping to push you in a direction that’s in your best interest?  Which path do you choose?  Make sure to follow your heart.  Your heart knows that correct answer even if you’re trying to deny what’s right.

Also on August 22 at 4:34 pm, Mars in Virgo Opposes Neptune in Pisces.  Mars in Virgo has been trying to get things done especially in regards to health matters, but Neptune in Pisces is making decisions a little foggy.  It’s not quite clear yet.  You may have to rely on your instincts to guide you or if you can delay a decision for a few days that could help too.

The Sun will be leaving the sign of Leo and entering the sign of Virgo on August 23 at 5;01 am.  Mars and Mercury have been laying the groundwork in the sign of Virgo already, but when the Sun enters, a new emphasis will be given to the matters you’ve been working on.  Pay more attention to health matters and what’s in the best interest of your body.  Clean up and discard what’s no longer serving you.  Find a way to be of service to others as well, if possible.

Mercury is stationing to go retrograde on August 23 at 3:59 pm.  Let the technology glitches begin, although the past week or so, you may have already noticed a few hiccups as Mercury is in its retrograde shadow.  You may have to rely on your gut instincts now more than ever.  Mercury in Virgo wants to be precise, but that may not be possible.  Even though perfectionism may be the name of the game for Virgo, sometimes you just need to step back and allow it to be what it will be instead of what you want it to be.

Be Confident

The Sun is Leo and it’s the height of summer.   The Sun wants to be at its most confident and have fun, but there are a couple of reminders this week.  What does confidence mean to you?

The Sun in Leo conjuncts Venus in Leo on August 13 at 7:16 am.  Venus is retrograding back through Leo.  It’s asking us to take a look back at what you love and value.  Do you love yourself?  Are you confident in who you are?  If not, why not?  These are great questions to ask yourself and start examining the answers if you haven’t already.  It’s hard to expect someone else to love you if you can’t love yourself.  You don’t have to be perfect, but can you be confident in the person that’s looking back at you in the mirror?

On August 15 at 10:35 pm, the Sun in Leo Squares Uranus in Taurus.  You may have a sudden epiphany about what you value and why. This could be a continuation of the work you began earlier in the week.  You may receive answers about what steps you need to take or what you need to work on so that you can be more confident in who you are.  There’s nothing more important than valuing yourself and what you can contribute to your life and the world at large.

Is It Too Much?

Is it possible to have too much of something?  The answer is a resounding yes.  You’ve probably overeaten a time or two, but can you have too much good or bad luck?  You shall see when the Sun in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus on August 6 at 8:03 pm.

There seem to be two types of people right now.  They’ve made adjustments to their life and are waiting for the next step of the puzzle to fall into place.  Or their life is falling apart and just when it seems like they’ve reached the plateau, the next piece falls out.  Which one are you?

Leo and Taurus are both fixed signs, neither of them really wants to change, but change is a necessary part of life.  Jupiter in Taurus wants growth and expansion. The Sun in Leo wants to focus on themselves and just have some fun.  Let someone else deal with the problems.  Worlds are colliding this week and which side of the debate will you end up with?  You just want to cry uncle and be done with it, but have you learned what you need to?

It’s often said that the universe will only give you what you can handle.  Maybe, or it may just be that this is a time of karma coming due.  There are consequences for your actions.  Were you thinking only of yourself or were you thinking of others?  There’s always the option to shift your way of thinking and take a different path. You may be too far down one path to completely avoid the consequences, but you can change your response.  This week if life is getting you down, start learning to change your response.  The future isn’t written in stone.

It’s summertime and with the signs of Mercury and Venus being in the Leo and the Sun about to join them it should be a time of fun, but Venus is about to go retrograde, what could that look like for you?

Mercury in Leo Squares Jupiter in Taurus on July 17 at 8:49 am.  Fun and creativity meet growth.  Jupiter is here to remind you that it’s not all fun and games and it’s time to get moving and meet your goals.

On July 20 at 4:39 pm, Mars in Virgo Opposes Saturn in Pisces.  Saturn in Pisces is trying to dissolve something in your life that isn’t working and Mars in Virgo might just be working to put that same thing into place.  Make sure it’s something that you really want before you put a lot of time and effort into it. 

The Sun in Cancer Opposes Pluto in Capricorn on July 21 at 11:53 pm.  Since 2008, Pluto in Capricorn has been transforming an area of your life.  Pluto is back to make sure that things are going the way they should.  The Sun in Cancer is checking to see how you feel about this.  Do you have the support that you need?  It’s ok to be nostalgic and wish for the old times, but sometimes you have to accept that the old days aren’t coming back and it’s time to move on.

On July 22 at 9:33 pm, Venus stations retrograde.  Venus is going to be retrograde until September 3.  This could be a great time to examine what you love.  Does it bring you joy?  Is your heart in it?  All of these are good questions to revisit while Venus is in retrograde. A few hours later at 9;50 pm, the Sun enters Leo.  The Sun wants to have fun and be inspired but could get stuck on the dramatic and the personal issues.  Be confident and optimistic.  Things will turn out how they’re supposed to, but not always how you expect them to.

Practicality vs. Creativity

Hope you got some time to rest last week and maybe even figure out what’s important to you.  There are two sign changes this week, so the energy is shifting.

Mars enters the sign of Virgo on July 10 at 7:40 am.  The planet of action is entering the sign of perfectionism, industriousness, diligence, and practicality.  You may be finding it challenging to get things done while Mars is in the sign of Virgo, you may have to double and check everything to make sure that it is just right.  It could also keep you from being impulsive with your actions and make sure this next step is one that you want to take.

Also on July 10 at 4:48 pm., Mercury in Cancer Opposes Pluto in Capricorn.  The ideas coming to fruition might have to take a backburner to whether or not they are structurally sound.  That’s ok, write those ideas down anyways you may come up with a solution at a later time.

Mercury enters the sign of Leo a few hours later on July 11 at 12:11 am.  Your thoughts might be more creative or you may feel more confident while Mercury is in the sign of Leo. Harness the power of the sun and let it help guide your thoughts to be more optimistic and fun.

The Sun in Cancer Squares Chiron in Aries on July 12 at 8:06 am.  Get out of your head and get in touch with your emotions.  Your emotions are trying to tell you something, but you’re spending so much time trying to be right or striving for the next thing that you might be losing something important in the process.  Dig down.  Cry if you need to.  Crying is a great way to release pent-up energy and expel it from your body.

What’s Important?

Happy Independence Day!  Enjoy some time off with family and friends and a little reminder about what’s important in life.  It can be so easy to get lost in day-to-day activities, but those aren’t what you remember at the end of the day.  It may be a seemingly tiny thing to you that makes all the difference in the world to someone else.

With all the hustle and bustle and high intensity of the last few years, a basic philosophy of being kind to others seems to be missing as part of daily society.  There’s such a concern with being right that being kind has been lost.  Venus in Leo is all about connecting to the heart and will Square Uranus in Taurus on July 2 at 10:34 am.  Uranus in Taurus is working on helping you to grow.  Maybe it’s more important to grow something that is meaningful and to be happy and fulfilled, than it is to have all the money or tangible items in the world.  It can be so easy to strive for riches and get things, but at the end of your life, you can’t take any of those things with you. Many people are starting new chapters in their lives, you may even be one of them.  Do something that will bring you happiness.  Happiness and love are two of the most important things that you can have in your life and their effects can be widespread.  A little bit of joy can go a long way to changing the world.

Mercury in Cancer will Square Chiron in Aries on July 6 at 12:28 am.  There may be some emotional processing that takes place.  Mercury has been revealing things and still is this week.  Pay attention to the little things, they may seem insignificant but could send you in a new direction.  Be careful not to get too stuck in your head.  It can be hard to say the words, but those words could be significant.

Time for Family

It’s officially summer and with Mercury entering the sign of Cancer this week, it's time for family and some fertile ideas.

The week begins with Mercury in Gemini Squaring Neptune in Pisces on June 25 at 6:36 pm.  The confusion over your ideas remains.  It can be challenging to get clear, but the fog will dissipate later in the week.

Mars in Leo Squares Uranus in Taurus on June 26 at 5:23 am.  Mars in Leo wants to focus on you and Uranus in Taurus is still working on getting you to grow and it may even come in unexpected ways.  Which side wins?  It could be that you win in both ways, but you need to be open to ideas, which can be challenging when you have a fixed idea of what you want and how it should look.

Mercury enters the sign of Cancer on June 26 at 8:24 pm.  Your thoughts will be more about family, but Cancer is ruled by the Moon and the moon changes signs every 2 and a half days.  By the end of its time in Cancer, Mercury could have lots of ideas.  Then you just need to find the best way to implement them.

Neptune stations to go retrograde on June 30 at 5:07 am.  It’s time to look back over your spiritual path.  What adjustments do you need to make?  The time for reviewing and revising is now.

The Sun in Cancer conjuncts Mercury in Cancer on July 1 at 1:06 am.  The Sun is shining a spotlight on the Cancer areas of your life: family being a big part of it.  Enjoy some time with family and spend some time in the water.  Cancer loves the water.
