Clarity Returns

There’s only one non-lunar aspect this week and for some of you, it’s a biggie, Mercury stations to go direct on September 15 at 4:21 pm.

What has Mercury been reviewing and revisiting while it’s been retrograde since August 23?  Maybe something regarding your health or how you serve your community since it’s in the sign of Virgo?  Or maybe Mercury is having a little fun and messing around with technology.

Either way with both Mercury and Venus now direct, you can get clear on an area of your life.  Clarity has been in short supply for a while and it seems like just when you wrap your head around one matter, another one takes its place. Maybe this week you can begin to decide what you truly want.  All of the outer planets are still retrograde, so there will still be some time before things may truly fall into place, but the planning can begin.

What are you getting clear on?    Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

The Energy Shifts

This week another planet goes retrograde and there’s another Eclipse. You will feel the energy shift and it’s trying to send you in a new direction.  What you do with the shift and the direction it sends you is up to you.

Pluto stations to go retrograde in the sign of Aquarius on May 1 at 1:09 pm.  Pluto will be retrograde until October 10 and will retrograde back into the sign of Capricorn in June.  It’s going to be time to re-examine the darkness of Pluto.  Are there still shadows that you need to look at.  You have a couple of opportunities to look at what you’ve been working on since 2008.  Look at the world since 2008, so much has changed.  Has it changed for the better?  Depends on how you look at it, but I think most would agree that the dark side of people has been exposed.  There’s no going back and hiding under a rock, but there is the option to do the work and see if the world can be a little bit better.  The work is never easy, but it’s the only way to truly grow as a person and as a community.  Which path do you want to take?

The Sun in Taurus conjuncts Mercury in Taurus on May 1 at 7:28 pm.  What do you value?  The sun and Mercury are shining a light on those things that you value.  Is what you value, how you spend the majority of your time?  If it isn’t, do you need to make some changes to either your values or how you spend your time?  The choice is yours.

Venus in Gemini will square Neptune in Pisces on May 4 at 1:40 pm.  Venus is looking to have a conversation about your spiritual side.  Are you looking to engage in that conversation or are you looking to avoid it altogether?

The Lunar Full Moon Eclipse in Taurus and Scorpio is on May 5 at 1:34 pm.  This is the last eclipse in the Taurus-Scorpio access and then the nodal access will shift this summer.  This is the end point for something that began about 18 months ago.  A chapter is ending.  How you respond to the end of this chapter is up to you.  The end could be big or it could be small, it depends on you.  Have you done the work or have you been insisting that nothing is wrong?

Remember to take some time for yourself this week.  Do something fun or relaxing.  When the energy shifts are big it can be challenging to get a good night’s rest.  Do your best and remember to be kind.  Everyone else is experiencing the same energy as you, but in maybe a slightly different way.  The world could use a little more kindness.

What is the energy shifting in your life?   Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Time for Energy Shifts

There are 4 planetary sign changes coming this week, so be prepared for the energy shifts.  The astrological new year and spring also both officially arrive this week.  Yay!  Are you ready for spring?

Two planets will enter the sign of Aries, Mercury, and the Sun.  Mercury goes first on March 19 at 12:24 am.  Be ready for your conversations and thinking to take on a new tone.  They have the potential to be more energetic, quick, and direct, but they can also be more impatient and aggressive.  The Sun will enter the sign of Aries on March 20 at 5:24 pm.  The Sun will bring a new beginning.  If you’ve been thinking about being a pioneer, this is a great time to initiate something new.

Pluto will test the waters in the sign of Aquarius starting on March 23 at 8:13 am.  Aquarius is an air sign that prefers the logical and scientific side of thinking.  It can also be idealistic, independent, and objective.  Aquarius also governs technology and community.  Technology and community may become part of the societal focus until it shifts next in 2043 (Pluto will retrograde back into Capricorn from June 11 to January 20).

Finally, Mars leaves the sign of Gemini where it has been since August, and enters the sign of Cancer on March 25 at 7:45 am.  Mars will tap into his supportive side until July 1.  You may want to spend more time working on domestic matters or being more nurturing.

Remember this is a lot of energy, so take some time out for yourself.  Rest and relax.  It can be tempting to be impulsive, especially with the Aries energy, but if you need a time out, take it.  Remember to take care of yourself first.

How are these energy shifts impacting you?   Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Are you Exhausted?

Have you just been feeling exhausted lately?  You have nothing left to give even though you have so much to do.  You’re not alone.   Unfortunately, the energy this week will leave you feeling the same way.  Exhausted, stressed and confused.  Like all things in life, this is just a chapter, and it too will be coming to a close, but first boundaries are important.

This week’s energy includes a lot of Pisces energy.  This can be a great time for creativity, but it can also make you want to escape from reality.  The world is a confusing place and you just want it to stay the same.  You want to know what’s going on.  You will, but not quite yet.

Mars in Gemini will square Neptune in Pisces on March 14 at 7;39 pm.  Mars has been having some trouble getting traction and is still having to do things twice.  This square might get something moving, but it could be a challenge to want to get moving.  The next day, the Sun in Pisces conjuncts Neptune in Pisces at 7:39 pm.  This could be an opportunity to be creative and tap into your artistic side.

March 16 there’s a lot of energy, so it could be stressful and lead to your exhaustion.  Mercury in Pisces will conjunct Neptune in Pisces at 1:13 pm.  Be kind with your words.  Have compassion for your fellow humans.  People seem to be at their breaking point.  The Sun in Pisces will Square Mars in Gemini at 2:10 pm.  Mars just wants to go and get something done and may get frustrated.  Venus in Aries is Square Pluto in Capricorn at 3:59 pm.  Venus is checking in with Pluto one last time before its move into Aquarius on March 23.  Is there one last detail that you need to feel before the energy switches?  The day ends with Venus entering Taurus at 6;34 pm.  Venus will be moving into her ruling planets.  She feels at home in the safety, security, and beauty of Taurus.

On March 17 at 12:49 am, Mercury in Pisces will Square Mars in Gemini.  Is there a conversation that needs to take place so that you can begin to move forward?

Here are some takeaways from this Gemini- Pisces energy.  Be curious.  Gemini loves to learn.  It can be challenging to do things multiple times, but know that each time will teach you something.  Pisces loves the mystical and spiritual aspects of life, but it also craves time alone.  Take some time to rest this week.  Get plenty of sleep.  Your body needs the rest, take it.  There’s nothing wrong with taking some time for yourself.

How can you take some time to rest?  Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Green Means Go

The energy doesn’t always work in your favor.  You may want something to happen and you want it to happen now, but the universe has applied the brake.  No matter what you seem to do nothing is moving forward, but there will start to be some motion again as Mars will station to go direct on January 12 at 3:56 pm.

Mars has been retrograde in the sign of Gemini since the end of October.  The planet of action and competition has been restless, social, and expressive.  Because of the airy nature of Mars, it seems like there’s just been a lot of talk and not much is happening.  It has been difficult to just get done what you need to and any changes that you wanted to make were put on the back burner until a better time.  Well, that time is coming.

Mars will start retracing its steps and going back over those ideas and start to come up with a plan to go forward.  Mars will join the ranks of the other direct planets and once Mercury stations retrograde on January 18, it will be full steam ahead and you’re ready to go.

Review what you’ve been working on and decide whether you want to move forward or if the plan needs a little more time to percolate.  There’s nothing wrong with taking a little time to think it over, but sooner or later, you have to just go.

Venus in Aquarius will square Uranus in Taurus on January 14 at 8:22 pm.  Spend some time with your friends or community, there may just be an aha moment that takes things in a new direction.

Impulsivity vs. Patience

There will be two sign changes this week, which will demonstrate the tension between acting impulsively and having the patience to gather information before leaping to conclusions.

Jupiter will re-enter the sign of Aries on December 20 at 9:32 am.  Aries is the sign of spontaneity, idealism, directness, and independence.  The Sun will enter Capricorn on December 21 at 4:48 pm.  Capricorn is the sign of patience, realism, practicality, and efficiency.  The Sun in Capricorn will then Square Jupiter in Aries a couple of hours later at 7:50 pm creating tension between the two signs.

Which energy do you need to rely on to get you what you want?  Both energies have their uses, but you can’t react both impulsively and patiently at the same time.  It’s just not possible, but the energy between the two could force you to react differently than you previously have.

It’s the week leading up to Christmas.  If you enter a store, you will most likely see this energy in full swing.  Those people who are finishing up their shopping.  They have just a few more items left to get and then they can enjoy the holidays vs. those people who haven’t started yet.  The people who haven’t started yet may be looking for whatever item they can find on the shelves.

As an adult, I don’t tend to act impulsively often and in terms of Christmas shopping, I plot and plan. I’m normally done shopping right around Thanksgiving.  Now I will mention that I don’t have as many items to purchase as some other people.  My father has improved a lot over the years, but growing up he had one person to buy for, my mom.  So on Christmas Eve, I would climb in the car and we would go to Bradlee’s and see what we could find that my mother might want.  Not an ideal situation, but it's one with which many of you are probably familiar.  The energy was always crazy in the stores on Christmas Eve.  The energy was the same way in the grocery store when I worked there as a teenager.  People race around to get every last item that they need before the stores close.

This is the energy that you’re going to see all around you.  Those people who are thinking methodically.  What steps do they need to take to achieve the desired result?  And those people who are just grabbing whatever they can find.

Are you acting impulsively or thinking methodically?    Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Dreams vs. Illusions

What are you dreaming about right now?  Are you seeing it clearly or is it a little bit foggy and out of focus?  It may be hard to tell this week with the Sun in Sagittarius squaring Neptune in Pisces on December 14 at 12:10 p.m.

Sagittarius is the sign of enthusiasm, hope, and optimism, but can also be the sign of being frank, outspoken, and exaggeration.  Pisces is the sign of compassion, mysticism, and spirituality, but can also be the sign of illusions, escapism, and deception.  Those two signs are creating conflict this week.

If you are able to take the struggle of last week and look beyond the illusion and frustration, you may start to see the bigger picture of what you want.  Squares are an opportunity to show you what you truly want.  You don’t discover what you want when everything in your life is going perfectly.  You tend to find out what is important to you when life isn’t going your way.  It’s human nature to want what you don’t have and to overlook what you do.

You may feel overly optimistic and that you can solve anything.  If you decide to explore, remember to take it slow and examine whether it is something that you truly want or you just think you want.  The old adage of being careful what you wish for could be an issue right now.  Think about it.  Sleep on it.  Don’t act impulsively.  If you do act impulsively, you could either regret your actions or have to make another decision later.  Mars is still retrograde in Gemini.  There’s a good possibility of having to take action twice.

Dreams are an important part of life.  Just make sure that you really want it, before you go after it.

What are you dreaming about?   Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Forward Motion

Finally!  Mercury retrograde is coming to a close and will station direct on October 2 at 5:07 AM.  Technology glitches and communications will begin to right themselves.  However, Mercury isn’t the only planet stationing direct this week.  Pluto will station direct on October 8 at 5:56 pm.

For the past few weeks, everything has felt like it’s been at a standstill while you’ve been revisited from your past.  What did your past reveal to you?  Are you headed in a new direction or are you still unhappy with the direction that your life has taken?  If you’re still not sure, don’t worry.  When the planets station either retrograde or direct, the energy becomes more intense.

The North Node in Taurus is still asking you to grow and will be until July 2023.  Change is afoot and sometimes no matter how much you fight it, it’s easier to just go with the flow.  You won’t always know how things will turn out when you start them.  Sometimes you just have to take a chance.

Mercury is back in Virgo until October 10.  Mercury is being analytical and practical right now.  Mercury doesn’t want to make any mistakes.  But life is all about the mistakes.  It’s how you handle them, that matters.

Pluto has been retrograde since April 29, 2022.  Pluto is the underworld or the shadow, but it’s also the power of transformation.  It’s how you can become empowered in your life.  Pluto in Capricorn has been changing the structures of your world and the world around you.  Pluto moved into Capricorn in November 2008 and will give you a sneak peek from March 24, 2023 to June 12, 2023 of Pluto in Aquarius.  It will enter Aquarius for an extended stay on September 3, 2024.  The collective is headed into these final degrees of Pluto in Capricorn.  It’s important that you lay the foundation now for the next phase of your life.

You’re being pushed to make progress.  It’s time to start taking steps.  You have the option to go one step at a time, but it’s time for forward motion.

What do you taking steps on? Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Helping Hand

The world can change overnight.  You may think you know your life's direction and then something happens.  Something that you knew might happen but didn’t see coming.  It’s always nice in those moments to have someone beside you holding your hand.

The Venusian energy of Libra is being felt.  Even though Mercury has retrograded back into the sign of Virgo, Venus herself is moving into the sign of Libra on September 29 at 3:49 am.  The Sun in Libra and Venus in Libra are also making their presence known in Opposition to Jupiter in Aries.  The Sun Opposes Jupiter in Aries on September 26 at 3:33 pm and Venus in Libra Opposes Jupiter in Aries on October 1 at 2:12 pm.

What is important?  Is it the relationship to others or to the self?  You can’t do it all alone.  For some, it may seem like it’s all about the self.  Aries is the I AM.  Who are you?  But Libra is the other.  You cannot exist in life as a solitary being.  Sometimes you have to reach out.  This is one of those times.  Whether it’s to ask for yourself or to give help to others, or both.  Life means more with relationships in it. Who do you want to be?  How do you want to be known?  With these oppositions, we’re being nudged to remember the boundary between the two.  You can help others without giving up who you are.  You can be yourself without having to separate yourself from the world.

When you have the opportunity, it’s important to lend a hand.  The world needs more kindness.  Each one of us needs a little help now and then.  Accept it and give it when you can.

How can you give or receive help? Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.

Time for Balance

The Sun will be entering the sign of Libra on September 22 at 9:04 pm.  It’s time to reflect inwards and find balance as the seasons change.

The Autumn Equinox falls on the day when the Sun moves into Libra.  It is also the point where sunrise and sunset are separated by exactly 12 hours.  Daylight will start to decrease and you will begin preparing for the winter months here in the northern hemisphere.  In times past, it was a time to reflect on the harvest and what you had accomplished.  What did you still need to do before the cold set in?  Your perspective is about to change.  It will no longer be a time of planting and harvesting, but hibernating.  Animals still do it today.  You would determine what you needed to survive during the winter.  You spent the majority of the year preparing for this upcoming season.  You still have time to prepare.

Times have changed.  Our food source no longer follows the same models that it once did, but these ancient systems can provide you with clues for what you will begin to experience. A time for reflection.  What do you still need to modify so that you can bring more balance into your life?  Libra is all about relationships as well.  Are your relationships in balance?  What can you do to bring more peace, love, and harmony into your world?   The time to explore the darkness of the winter months is coming, but for now, you still have time to initiate changes and modify what you’ve been working on.  What do you still need to do to accomplish your goals?

Mercury is still going retrograde in Libra.  Mercury in Libra will be opposing Jupiter in Aries on September 18 at 6:34 pm and will be Conjunct the Sun in Libra on September 23 at 2:50 am, a few hours after the Sun moves into Libra.  Venusian values will take center stage and ask us to look at what we love.  Do you love the direction that you’re headed in?  If not, this is the time to learn a new perspective and possibly make a change.

You need balance in order to move forward in life.  Life can’t be all work, no play, or all play and no work.  There are two sides to every coin.  If your life is too skewed in one direction, this is the time to right the ship and find balance.

Where do you need to find balance?   Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment.
