Is It Too Much?

Is it possible to have too much of something?  The answer is a resounding yes.  You’ve probably overeaten a time or two, but can you have too much good or bad luck?  You shall see when the Sun in Leo squares Jupiter in Taurus on August 6 at 8:03 pm.

There seem to be two types of people right now.  They’ve made adjustments to their life and are waiting for the next step of the puzzle to fall into place.  Or their life is falling apart and just when it seems like they’ve reached the plateau, the next piece falls out.  Which one are you?

Leo and Taurus are both fixed signs, neither of them really wants to change, but change is a necessary part of life.  Jupiter in Taurus wants growth and expansion. The Sun in Leo wants to focus on themselves and just have some fun.  Let someone else deal with the problems.  Worlds are colliding this week and which side of the debate will you end up with?  You just want to cry uncle and be done with it, but have you learned what you need to?

It’s often said that the universe will only give you what you can handle.  Maybe, or it may just be that this is a time of karma coming due.  There are consequences for your actions.  Were you thinking only of yourself or were you thinking of others?  There’s always the option to shift your way of thinking and take a different path. You may be too far down one path to completely avoid the consequences, but you can change your response.  This week if life is getting you down, start learning to change your response.  The future isn’t written in stone.

What’s your re?

It’s summertime and with the signs of Mercury and Venus being in the Leo and the Sun about to join them it should be a time of fun, but Venus is about to go retrograde, what could that look like for you?

Mercury in Leo Squares Jupiter in Taurus on July 17 at 8:49 am.  Fun and creativity meet growth.  Jupiter is here to remind you that it’s not all fun and games and it’s time to get moving and meet your goals.

On July 20 at 4:39 pm, Mars in Virgo Opposes Saturn in Pisces.  Saturn in Pisces is trying to dissolve something in your life that isn’t working and Mars in Virgo might just be working to put that same thing into place.  Make sure it’s something that you really want before you put a lot of time and effort into it.

The Sun in Cancer Opposes Pluto in Capricorn on July 21 at 11:53 pm.  Since 2008, Pluto in Capricorn has been transforming an area of your life.  Pluto is back to make sure that things are going the way they should.  The Sun in Cancer is checking to see how you feel about this.  Do you have the support that you need?  It’s ok to be nostalgic and wish for the old times, but sometimes you have to accept that the old days aren’t coming back and it’s time to move on.

On July 22 at 9:33 pm, Venus stations retrograde.  Venus is going to be retrograde until September 3.  This could be a great time to examine what you love.  Does it bring you joy?  Is your heart in it?  All of these are good questions to revisit while Venus is in retrograde. A few hours later at 9;50 pm, the Sun enters Leo.  The Sun wants to have fun and be inspired but could get stuck on the dramatic and the personal issues.  Be confident and optimistic.  Things will turn out how they’re supposed to, but not always how you expect them to.

What are you revisiting?  Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Revisiting the Past

What did your heart teach you last week?  Those lessons will come in handy as you experience some intense energies this week.  Two planets change signs and one planet stations to go retrograde.  Let’s get ready to revisit the past.

On March 23 Pluto entered the sign of Aquarius.  The energy began to shift and change and Pluto began to transform a new area of your life.  On May 1, Pluto was stationed to go retrograde and has been working its way back into Capricorn, which it will re-enter on June 11 at 5:47 am.  Pluto will have this dance between Capricorn and Aquarius well into 2024, November to be exact.  You may be longing for Pluto’s impact upon one area of your life to be over.  Pluto transits can be some of the longest and most challenging, but once it’s done your life will be forever different and it could be for the better.

Mercury enters the sign of Gemini on June 11 at 6;27 am.  Mercury loves being in the sign of Gemini.  It’s time to be curious and social.  Also, keep in mind that Gemini is the sign of duality and there are two sides to every story.   Things can also happen in sets of twos. June 11 is a big day and there’s one more major transit for the day when Venus in Leo Squares Jupiter in Taurus at 11;40 am.  Venus just wants to have a little fun, but Jupiter is ready to grow something.  Try to find a way to be in the moment on the 11th if possible.  With all of this big energy, it can be easy to get wound up and emotional.  Being aware of the energy is half the battle.

Mercury in Gemini will Square Saturn in Pisces on June 15 at 12:09 pm.  You may have some difficulty deciding if you want to be social or just be left alone to your own devices and stay home.  Whatever you decide, it’s ok.  Just go with the flow.

Saturn stations to go retrograde on June 17 at 1:27 pm.  Saturn is getting ready to revisit some of the issues that have been rising to the surface since Saturn entered Pisces on March 7.  Revisiting the past isn’t always easy, but there is a reason in this case.  There’s something that needs to be looked at differently.  You’re being given the opportunity.  Will you take it?

What are you revisiting from your past? Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Talk It Out

Things in the sky are about to get a little bit chatty as the Sun changes signs this week.  The Sun entered the sign of Gemini on May 21 at 3:09 am.  Do you notice the difference?

Gemini is the sign of duality.  You may notice that things happen in twos.  It is also a sign that not only like to talk it out but to learn something new.  This can be a great month to take a new class or meet up with friends.

Mars in Leo Squares Jupiter in Taurus, which just changed signs last week, on May 23 at 1:13 am.  Mars in Leo is ready to go.  Maybe do something that is for them and only them, but Taurus isn’t ready yet.  Taurus doesn’t want to make changes and wants things to remain the same, but you’re meant to grow something new with Jupiter being in Taurus, so don’t say no quite yet.  Think about it.  Weigh the pros and cons.  You may just decide to give it a try.

On May 24 at 7:39 pm, Venus in Cancer Squares Chiron in Aries.  Venus is getting in touch with her maternal side, while Chiron is ready to be a warrior and maybe even go to battle.  Who will win?  It’s all up to you.

Be careful this week of people trying to bring you into their dramas.  It could be a good week to set boundaries or even say that you need time to think about something and walk away.  Take time to think it over and deal with it at another time.  Sometimes decisions are better made when you aren’t emotional or have a little bit more perspective.  You may need another opinion.  Allow yourself to talk it out with someone else, but remember you don’t have to do what they may suggest.

What do you need to talk about?  Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Mood Swings

This is a week of extremes and changes.  The week starts off with Mercury stationing to do direct and two sign changes.  Work with the energy that’s presented to you and see what you can make of it.  If you have to step away for a bit, step away and do something else.  There’s the tendency to want to get things accomplished, but sometimes it’s more about progress than accomplishment.

Mercury stations to go direct in the sign of Taurus on May 14 at 11:17 pm.  This Mercury retrograde has been about challenging the status quo and your comfort zone. The mental fog will begin to clear.  It can take a couple of weeks for it to clear completely though.

Jupiter enters the sign of Taurus on May 16 and 1:20 pm.  The planet of expansion is going to begin exploring some Taurus subject matters in a big way.  Money, food, and values are just a few of the basics.  These aren’t new subjects for you, as you’ve been exploring them over the past few weeks and Uranus has been in Taurus since 2019.  This is a great time to get back to nature and sit with the fertile energies.  See where they want to take you.

Jupiter in Taurus will have its first aspect the next day as it Squares Pluto in Aquarius on May 17 at 9:11 pm.  Jupiter and Pluto are having a conflict over what takes precedence, your values or your ideals. Mars will then leave behind the sign of Cancer and enter into the sign of Leo on May 20 at 11:31 am.  Mars will be happy to get fired up and think about ways to have fun.  Mars in Leo can be a little dramatic at times, but it can definitely bring some excitement to taking action.

Mars in Leo will then Oppose Pluto in Aquarius on May 20 at 11:17 pm.  Jupiter and Pluto had a conversation a few days ago, it's time for Mars to become involved.  Is now the time for you to take action on that dialogue?  Do you know which is more important to you?

How are handling the highs and lows as the energy swings?     Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

Take A Chance

Aries season can be one of impulsivity, but that might now always be a bad thing.  When the Sun conjuncts Jupiter this week, it could just work to your advantage.

Venus this week enters the sign of Gemini on April 11 at 12:47 am.  Venus is going to enjoy talking things out and writing.  You may want to be more social than usual and ask lots of questions.  However, Gemini is also the sign of duality, so remember there could be another side to things or they could come in twos.

The Sun in Aries also conjuncts Jupiter in Aries on April 11 at 6:07 pm.  Jupiter expands whatever the Sun is shining a light on.  This may be a time to try something new or act in a way that you might not normally do.  Take a chance this week.  There is a tendency to think that by trying something new, the worst is always going to happen, but sometimes everything you want is on the other side of trying.  Don’t let fear hold you back.  Become a warrior and seek what you want.

Venus in Gemini will square Saturn in Pisces on April 14 at 12:38 pm.  Venus may feel a little restricted by Saturn.  She may not feel quite like herself or talk quite as much.  You feel stuck in your head and like you just feel adrift.  Remember it’s a transit and it’s temporary.

The energy has been challenging the last few weeks.  There is a kind of push-and-pull dynamic going on.  You may feel like you’re constantly taking two steps forward and one step back, but eventually, you will arrive at your destination.  Keep going and take chances.  Life is meant to be lived.

You’re On An Adventure

It can be really easy when life just seems tough and you wonder which shoe is going to drop next to remember that life is an adventure and that’s why you’re here.  After the challenges of the last few weeks, this week is a reminder to be optimistic and try new things.

It can be easy to think that you have it all figured out and then life throws you a curveball.  You may even wonder if you knew anything at all.  Everyone has been there at one time or another.  Approach your adventure with an open mind and see where it leads you.

The  Aries energy of beginnings and adventure will figure heavily into this week’s energy.  Mercury in Aries will Conjunct Chiron in Aries on March 26 at 2:58 pm.  Has there been something that you’ve wanted to say and you haven’t been able to say it?  This may be the time to start a new conversation.  Mercury in Aries then has a conversation with Jupiter on March 28 at 2;50 am.  Try something new.  Learn something new.  Jupiter likes to go big, so this may be the time for you to go big.

Venus in Taurus Conjuncts Uranus in Taurus on March 30 at 6:26 pm.  What do you love?  What do you value?  There may be a sudden epiphany here that a direction you’ve been headed in may not have been totally right for you.  It’s ok to change directions in life, it happens to all of us.

Life doesn’t always take you in a straight line.  Something that you think should take a few moments can take years.  There is no right or wrong on this journey.  There is only you and what are you learning.  Take a new step this week.

Spontaneity & Healing

The last dregs of February and the dawning of March are here.  What does that mean?  Big changes are coming, but first it's time for spontaneity and healing.

March 2 is going to be a big day.  It begins with a conjunction between Venus in Aries and Jupiter in Aries at 12:36 am. Like was talked about last week, Venus in Aries is impulsive and prefers an immediate response.  Jupiter will expand that energy and make it bigger.  It could be a big start to something new or you may have to reign in yourself or those around you to keep in check.

At 9;34 am, Mercury in Aquarius conjuncts Saturn in Aquarius.  Saturn is checking in with Mercury one last time before it moves into Pisces.  Is there something that needs to be said about your future?  Do you need to think a little bit more about your new plans before they go into place?

Mercury enters the sign of Pisces at 5:52 pm.  It’s time for Mercury to get in touch with his intuitive side.  Look for your artistic or creative side to take over or maybe you need to feel what someone else is thinking.  These are areas where Mercury in Pisces thrives.

On March 3 at 12:48 pm, Venus in Aries will conjunct Chiron in Aries.  Is there something about yourself that you need to heal in order to move forward in your plans?  This is a great time to use the Pisces energy to connect with your inner voice and the Aries energy to start something new.

Impulsivity vs. Patience

There will be two sign changes this week, which will demonstrate the tension between acting impulsively and having the patience to gather information before leaping to conclusions.

Jupiter will re-enter the sign of Aries on December 20 at 9:32 am.  Aries is the sign of spontaneity, idealism, directness, and independence.  The Sun will enter Capricorn on December 21 at 4:48 pm.  Capricorn is the sign of patience, realism, practicality, and efficiency.  The Sun in Capricorn will then Square Jupiter in Aries a couple of hours later at 7:50 pm creating tension between the two signs.

Which energy do you need to rely on to get you what you want?  Both energies have their uses, but you can’t react both impulsively and patiently at the same time.  It’s just not possible, but the energy between the two could force you to react differently than you previously have.

It’s the week leading up to Christmas.  If you enter a store, you will most likely see this energy in full swing.  Those people who are finishing up their shopping.  They have just a few more items left to get and then they can enjoy the holidays vs. those people who haven’t started yet.  The people who haven’t started yet may be looking for whatever item they can find on the shelves.

As an adult, I don’t tend to act impulsively often and in terms of Christmas shopping, I plot and plan. I’m normally done shopping right around Thanksgiving.  Now I will mention that I don’t have as many items to purchase as some other people.  My father has improved a lot over the years, but growing up he had one person to buy for, my mom.  So on Christmas Eve, I would climb in the car and we would go to Bradlee’s and see what we could find that my mother might want.  Not an ideal situation, but it's one with which many of you are probably familiar.  The energy was always crazy in the stores on Christmas Eve.  The energy was the same way in the grocery store when I worked there as a teenager.  People race around to get every last item that they need before the stores close.

This is the energy that you’re going to see all around you.  Those people who are thinking methodically.  What steps do they need to take to achieve the desired result?  And those people who are just grabbing whatever they can find.

Are you acting impulsively or thinking methodically?    Let me know.  Do you want to know more, click here to book a discovery session or an appointment?

The Struggle

You’ve been wanting to make a choice or go in a new direction, but you just don’t seem to be able to move forward.  That’s the struggle this week.  I want to do this, but I’m not sure.

The week kicks off with Venus in Sagittarius squaring Neptune in Pisces on December 4 at 2:12 am, and then a couple of days later on December 6 at 2:05 am, Mercury in Sagittarius squares Jupiter in Pisces.  Neptune stationed to go direct on December 3, so you’re still feeling the effects of that planetary station.  The fog that Neptune can create is trying to clear, but it’s just not quite ready.  Mercury and Venus are still trying to make decisions.  The Sun in Sagittarius will oppose Mars in Gemini on December 8 at 12:42 am.  Remember Mars is still retrograde until January, so it’s not quite ready to take action, and Gemini is an air sign.  There are things to think about first.

Venus in Sagittarius will then square Jupiter in Pisces on December 9 at 7:55 am.  Jupiter is going to expand the energy and make the choice bigger.  Can you see what you need to do now?  If not, it’s ok.  You may not be ready yet.

There are two sign changes this week.  Mercury enters Capricorn on December 6 at 5:08 pm and Venus enters Capricorn on December 9 at 10:54 pm.  The energy of Capricorn will bring some patience, practicality, and initiating energy to your environment.  What is the responsible thing to do will enter into the equation?

The making of possibly life-altering decisions is never easy.  The struggle of making that choice is quite real. It may seem at times like you’re the only one and that others just don’t understand.  Some people may not, but there are others that do.  Others have been there, made the big decision, and survived to tell the tale.  When you have to make this choice it can seem all-consuming, but when you finally allow yourself to make a choice, whether it’s good or bad, there can be a freedom that you’ve made the choice and are ready.  Be patient with yourself and know that when you are ready, you will make the choice.  The struggle will not have been in vain.
